先日ブログでお知らせしたばかりで、
また私のDMでもお知らせし始めた
ばかりなのに、菜種油ほぼ完売
状況の様です。

これについては、峰の原のペンション
の方々の販売協力が強烈に効いたようです。
在庫はNPO法人須坂エコライフネットワーク
に数本だけのようで、先日買いだめしておいた
私の手許に残っている15本ほどは超レアものという
ことになります。早いもの勝ちです。
5本予約が入ったので、残り10本です。

容器やデザインを変える事から
販売サポートまで、峰の原の力は
半端ではありませんね。都会出身の
方が多いので、価値のわかる人たち
とのパイプがあるというのが
強みの一つなんでしょうね。
エコライフの方々もこれに力を得て、
来年も菜種を作るべく頑張るようです。

私もワイン頑張らなくっちゃ！

一方野菜の価格の下落と
消費控えがあるようで、須坂市内の
農家グループが作った無農薬大豆は
かなり売れ残っているようです。
人気の出てきた味噌作り講習会に
使えば、こういうご時勢でもあり、昨年
以上の参加者が見込めるでしょうが、
来年やるのかどうか不明とのことで
心配です。凡夫にはわからない
問題はあるようですが。

また、それにもまして（かなり深刻！）
りんごの出荷価格が大分安くなって
りんご農家の苦悩が大きいようです。
これについては、
市場のせいとばかりはゆかない歴史的・
地域的・構造的問題も内包されていると指摘
する人もいるようです。
問題の原因がわかっていたらそれを
取り除けばいいのでしょうが、そうは
簡単にはゆかないところが問題なんでしょうね。

It seems that Natane (rape seed) oil which
I introduced here the other day and which
I have just began introduced by my DM is
going to be sold out.

The sales collaboration by the pension
(small inn) owners at Minenohara Highland
has contributed a lot. The stock is only
a few bottles at NPO Suzaka EcoLife Network.
As such, around 15 bottles in my stock which
I bought the other day are the last ones
an are very rare product now. I received
a booking for 5 bottles today so the remaining
is just 10 bottles. The are sold on first come,
first served basis!

Starting with the change of bottle and
label design, the people at Minenohara
supported the NPO lot and their support
is phnomenal. Many of them come from the
big cities so they may have connection
with the pople who can value the goods.
It must be a good merit of them.
The people of NPO was very much encouraged
and seem to decide to grow more rape plant
for oil next year.

I will do my best for my wine, too!

On the other hand, the soy beans seem
difficult to sell due to the lower vege price
and lower buying power of consumers.
More and more pople seem to like Miso making
and more demand may be there than this year.
However, Miso making is on the verge of
cessation. An absurd like me does not
understand why but there may be many
problems.

Oh, by the way, the apple price seems very
low this year and apple farmers seem to be in
serious trouble this year. Some poeple say
this issue is not a simple market pricing but
involves historical,regional,and fundamental
matters to date. As the cause is know, the
problem can be removed but the ssituation
does not sound so simple, either.

固い感じがしますが、
何か作るというのは
何でも芸術なんですね。
定義は？といわれると
困るんですが、こんな
クッキーやらその入れ物
をみると、思わず
にっこりしてしまいます。

芸術とか、ものづくりは
爆発だったり、求道的な
イメージが強いですが、
一つの作業を極めるのに
何十年もかかったり…。
確かに驚きや感動を喚起するものの
中に才能や進化という物を感じ
ます。

が、作品が喜ばれたり、愛されたり
こころ温まるものを感じさせてくれる
もの、好きで好きでたまらない作者の
気持ちが伝わってきてほのぼのとする
ものだって、ものづくりの芸術
ですよね。

昨日紹介したリースや
お菓子作りや料理作りだってそういう
ものだろうと思うのです。やはり、
手や心の作り出すものには、
受け手の中に響くものが
宿っていますよね。

It may sound very academic but
I feel making a thing is itself
an art. I would be embarrassed
if I was asked what the definition
of art was. But don't these cookies
and the box bring a smile to your lips ?

Art of making often comes together with
the image of a burst, stoick personality,
a technique requiring more
than 10 years to acauire, etc.,
Certainly I feel talent or evolution in
a work which inspires surprise or emotion.

But on the other hand, a work which
is just enjoyed or loved or which
makes one feel warm at heart, or which
can tell us the joy of making, also
can be called an art.

In that sense, I think making sweets or
cooking is also an art and like
making wreath as introduce yesterday
here as well. I feel a work
that is made by hand and heart carries
something that moves the people and talks
itself.

なにかと気ぜわしい
今日この頃。
寒いのか寒くないのか、
生暖かい天気が
続いています。

今年は暖冬かも。
今のうちに剪定でも始めようか。
そうそう、今週末からまた
アートパークでライトアップ
が始まります。
今日から出品を
作り始めました。
点灯式は13日。
クリスマスまで続きます。
お楽しみに。

We have warm days for winter
these days in generally
busy December.

This winter may be a warm
winter. We can start pruning
a bit earlier this winter.

I started crafting an exhibit
for the light up event to be
held at the Doll Museum
starting on coming weekend.
It will continue upto Christman.

Art Park.

今日は、現在熟成中の
2008ヴィンテージのワインをすべて
少々時間をかけてテイスティング。
樹齢が上がってきたせいか
どのワインも結構しっかりした風味
を持っている。ただし、複雑さは
毎年の葡萄のできによって
かなり異なるのだが。

2007ヴィンテージの赤も先月瓶詰め
して良い感じになってきている。
白については、2007年のものは
少々リリースを早まったように思う。
おそらく今販売を始めてシャルドネも
あと半年くらいで香りも含めて
変わってきそうだ。

気はせくが、やはり納得行くように
しないと。

そういえば、リースを玄関に飾った。
あまりに立派すぎるリースだ。
もう少し色物を追加しようか。
本場ではクリスマス・リースにこめる
思いは何なのだろう。

I tasted all the 2008　vinage
wines today. As each vine ages,
the taste seems to become
richer and more complex.
But the complexity is different
from one year to anohter.

Red wines of 2007　vintage which were
bottled last month are getting all
right. Howevere, White wines of 2007
vintage may have been released too
early. Chardonnay 2007 has all the way
began to change and it seems to take
another 6 months at least to drink.

I tend to feel rushed everytime
I have to decide about the timing
of release wines but
I should be very firm about the
timing of relases depending
on the quality of the wine.

By the way, I hung a wreath
on the door. It is too gorgeaous
for my door. I may put some more
decoration in gold or red color.
I wish good luck coming. But I wonder
what kind of ideas there are for the
christamas wreath.

12月8日。別に私が何かを
覚えてるとか、そういう事
では無いのですが。
太平洋戦争の始まった日です。

8月15日は国を挙げて盛大な
式典があるのですが、さすがに
開戦記念日なんていうわけには
ゆかないし。

それにしても、帝国主義、
アジアの植民地化、ABCD包囲網
等々、という背景があったにせよ
拡大主義と破壊力による勢力の
張り合いは大きな犠牲を伴って
破綻したわけだ。国家が国民の
利益を忘れて、博打を打っていた
ようなものだ。

いま、様々なものが破綻したり
破綻しかけている。食だったり、生活
だったり、経済だったり、
社会システムだったり。

既存のシステムとか組織の維持
が目的になっていて、そもそもの
出発点である、国民の平和と利益
をいかにして守るのかという
考えかたが政治家や行政に感じられない
ように思えます。
一体何がいけなかったのか
原点の検証が必要だろう。

とはいいつつも、明日に希望と
夢を持って明るく行きましょう。
自然は今日も美しい景色を見せて
くれました。

December 8. I don't mean that
I remember something about this date.
But it was the day when the Pacific War
began.

Although August 15 is the national
ceremony day (but not a national holiday),
this date cannot be a celebrating day.

Looking back the history,
despite of the Imperialism,
colonization, ABCD Line, etc.,
the aggressionism and the war
by armed forces collapsed in despair
with huge amount of sacrifices.
It was something like a nation was
betting on the war leaving the peace
and the benefit of the people behind.

Today, there seem many things have
collapsed and are collapsing, such as
safety of food, life,　economy,
social systems. It is required
for the politicians and bureaucrats
to come back to the principle that
their raison-d'etre is to protect
peace and benefit of the people
but not to concentrate in keeping
the systems or organizations to which
they belong. It is necessary to
review what was wrong on earth.

By saying so, let's keep own hope
and dream in the future and
enjoy life!　The nature even
today showed us another beautiful
scenary.
