知り合いの知り合いが
この冬中、山から木を切り出し
キノコの菌うちをした
ほだぎをかなり大量に作っていて
買ってくれる人を探しているという
話があった。

種類は椎茸、なめこ、
ヒラタケの3種類。
市販の菌うちほだぎと
比べて格安で、私も来年の収穫を
期待して何本かづつ買った。
来年以降自家製きのこ
が食べられそう。

A friend of my friend cut the trees
from the mountain and made them into
the wood for mashroom last winter.
He made a lot of them and looked for
the buyers.

Three kinds of mashroom, shiitake,
nametake and hiratake are available
at very reasonable price.
I bought some of each kind wishing to
have my own half natural mashrooms.
Do you want some ?

ワイン葡萄の剪定やら枝付け、
開墾に時間を取られていて、
巨峰の畑の世話がすっかり
後手になってしまっていた。
久しぶりに畑で剪定枝の
片付け（遅っ！）を友人の手を
借りながらやった。

巨峰の芽が大分大きくなり、
今にも破裂しそうなほど。
と思って他の畑に行ったら
先端の芽はなんともう発芽しているでは
ないか！　やはり今年は
大分進んでいるのだ。
発芽前の防除を明日予定
していたのに！
その上明日は雨の予報だ。
段取りをもっと良くしないとね。

While I was busy in pruing and training
winegrapes and the development of new vineyard,
Kyoho grapes has advanced ahead of my expectation.
I removed pruned branches today which was so
late with a help of my frineds.

There I found buds becoming so big and
almost bursting. And in other Kyoho vineyard,
I found tip buds already busting. The growth
of vines is much faster than usual.
I planned the spraying tomorrow which was
supposed to be done before budburst.
What is worse, rain is forecasted
tomorrow. I've got to prepare everything
in much advance.

また暖かい日が続いて
山の色にも萌え始めの
薄い緑が増えている。そうして
山桜の白い色も。

今年ワイン葡萄を植える畑の
開墾に、剪定枝の始末、
農薬散布、ジャガイモの
植え付け等々、なんだか
とても気ぜわしい。

そんな夕暮れ、畑から見る山の
景色が美しかった。

We have very fine and warm weather
again for a few days. There comes
pale green color in the mountain
together with white mountain cherry
blossoms. Bud burst season has begun.

I have been hurried by the development
of new vineyard prepartion, clean up
of the prune branches, sprays and planting
potatoes. No wonder so busy.

At such a spring sunset from the vineyard the
sorrounding mountains show beautiful
scenes.

友人が「ちょっと感動物」といって
メールで送ってくれたアドレスを
開いたら、まさしくその映像。

風采の上がらないイギリスの
田舎の47歳のおばさん。大分
明るいキャラクター。オーディション
番組に出てきて、審査員と観客から
大顰蹙を買っていた。が、ひとたび
歌い始めると場内騒然、感動の嵐
にスタンディングオーヴェイション。

まるで映画を見ているようです。
作られたものでなければ良いのですが。
明るく生きていると良いことあるみたい。
意外性と才能とそして12歳から持ち続けている
夢と努力？…そんな
事を考えてしまうより、純粋に感動。
さて、もう一回見よう。

I happened to find an article in Nikkei
website about the Angel voice which was
very much a big fuss in Youtube over the
world just when I received an e-mail from
one of my friends showing the address in
Youtube. She said she was very much moved
with the performance. I opened the programm
and was surprised that the video had been
viwed over 25million times alreaday.
I viewed it twice at once to tell the truth.

A lady from a village in UK was on the stage
of an audition show there. She has cheeful
character but all the judges and the audiences
were all against her maybe because of her appearance
and her words which were so straight and sounded
like big mouth. However as soon as she started
singing, everybody was so amazed and moved by
her voice and song and standing ovation
started very naturallly.

I felt as if I had been watching a movie.
I hope it was not made on purpose or a surprise
planned. Something good would happen to you if you
had lived your life cheefully. Such unexpected happening,
talent and continued efforts　and a dream since 12 years
old...forget about them all. Simply such an emotion!
Let's go back and view it again.

恒例のワイン葡萄の苗植え会をやります。
お昼までみっちり農作業。
その後ワインやジュースでBBQ。
5月の太陽の下身体を動かして爽やかな一日を
一緒に過ごしましょう。
今年植えた苗は3年後に収穫し、4～5年後に
ワインとして楽しめます。
将来の「ちょっぴりマイワイン」を想いながら
の苗植えはどうでしょうか？

日時：　5月2日（土）午前9時より12時頃まで。
場所：　須坂市内の畑（おおよそ、やすらぎの園と
　　　　日滝小学校の間の畑=詳細は個別に
　　　　お知らせします）
内容：　ワイン葡萄の苗（メルロー）を植えます。
服装：　汚れてもよい格好。長靴、軍手は必要です。
持ち物：できたらスコップ。
ご注意：少雨決行。天気がいいと日焼け止めなど。
　　　　差し入れ大歓迎。
保険：　各自のご費用でお入り下さい。

I am glad to inform you that winegrape planting
event will be held on May 2 (Sat.) at a vineyard
in Suzaka city again this year.
Planting until around noon time
and BBQ and drinks will be served later. Under the
fine weather of May, why don't you enjoy a day
in a vineyard thinking of your future wine in
4 to 5 years later.

Date: May 2 (Sat.) Work 9am to noon then BBQ.

Venue: A vineyard in Suzaka city. Somewhere
between Yasuragi-no-sono and Hitaki primary school.
The detail will be given on request.

Vine Variety: Merlot (red)

Wear: Working gears including shose are preferable.

What to bring: Shovel if available.

Note: Cancelled on heavy rain only. Sun brock will be
recommended on sunny weather. Give-away food and drink
are welcome!
