何かの雑誌で赤ワイン用の葡萄は芽吹きの
色が赤くて、白ワイン用の葡萄は緑色だ、
などと書いてあったような気がする。
えーっ、と思ったが、そのように誤解
している人もいるかも知れない。

この写真は2枚ともソーヴィニオン・ブランですが
ご覧の様に芽吹きの色は赤を帯びています。
一応念のため。

I read an article about wine which said
the bud color of red winegrape was red
and white winegrape was green.
I have never heard about that but there
might be some people who believe it true.

The pictures above are of Sauvigon Blanc at its
bud bursting stage. As can be seen, they
are very reddish.

友人の山の達人の家でご馳走になった。
都会では、いや田舎でもめったにいただけない
旬のご馳走。しかも採りたて。本当の贅沢
だね。

いずれも今日採ってきたもの。

ネマガリダケの焼いたのと茹でたもの。

こしあぶらのてんぷら。

この他、こごみ、自家の山で栽培している山葵の
おろしを添えた蕎麦などなど。
たまりませんな。

I was invited to a dinner at the friend’s with
another friend from Tokyo. There were so many spring
delights that are real luxury that cannot be experienced
in the big cities or even in rural area. You need an expert
of the mountains. The dishes were fresh directly from
the mountains of Shinshu.

Tempura of young opening buds of special mountain tree.

Other dishes served were Kogomi mountain wild vegetable,
buck wheat noodle with horse radish from his mountain.

You can seldom experience such luxury, can’t you?

コンピューターの修復が現実的でない
とわかったので、急遽中古のコンピューターを
購入した。以前使っていたプリインストール
されていたソフトはほとんど使えなくなった。
データの移動もどうもうまくできない。
メールアドレス等バックアップを取っていた
ものもデータを移せない。
今夕届いてすぐに万全とは行かないか。
気長にやり直しです。

長い間使い勝手が悪かったので、新しくした
コンピューターの動作がとても早く、それは
喜んでいる。

今日の夕焼け

My computer was found unrepairable economically.So I bought a used and refurbished one. Most of the softwares pre-installed in the previous computer can not be used in the new one. I cannot transfer data from hard disk driver like the backed up e-mail address. Any how the computer arrived just this evening. I cannot make it perfect at once. I may take some time to get used to it.

As I had so much troubles with the old computer, I am happy with the operating speed of the new one for the moment.

今日は町の仕事で須坂温泉から
坂田のトンネルまでの間の道の
清掃（ごみひろい）。歩道を
歩いているうちはいいが、片側は歩道
もなく、交通量が多いしかもスピードが
でていて見通しの悪いカーブもある。
ああいう場所を町の仕事として
役員のいわばボランティアで
やるのはどうなのかなあ。
もうちょっと工夫しないと
危ないよなあ。安全対策は
まったくとられていないしな～。

おそらく行楽シーズン（特に秋）に
やたらとごみを車から捨ててゆく人が
多くて、美化しようと始まった
ことなんだろうけど、今となっては
結構危険だよね。

Here is the mission assigned by the
local commuity. That is rubbish picking
along the road from around Suzaka Onsen Spa
to Sakata Tunnel. Rubbish picking on the
side road was no problem but the other side
of the road where there is no side walk
is dangerous. The traffic is heavy, and
the road has a curve which hinders the drivers'
sight. I wonder if it is the job that is assigned
to the resident ? There is no sign cautioning
to the drivers about the rubbish pickers ahead.
Some thought should be given before an accident
occurs.

It may have started to clean the area from
the rubbish thrown by the drivers during
the sightseeing season (especially autumn).
That is all right but now it seems too
dangeours to leave such job to the resident
in such dagerous road section.

昨日２５年ぶりほどにある友人と
会った。昔話に、思い出せる
ことがある反面、そんなことが
あったっけと思い出せない事も
少々。まだ大学生の頃のことで、
遠い思い出が甦る。

外見は変わってしまっているが
話し方も笑い方も昔のままだ。

そういえばぶらついた通りの名前は
すぐに出てきたが、きっとあの街も
変わってしまっているのだろうな。

I met an old friend almost
for the first time in last
25 years. We talked about old
days. Something I remembered and
the other I was not able to remember.
Those were the days we were both young
and were university students.

We both have changed in appearance a lot
but the way we talked and the way we laughed
were unchanged.

The names of the streets we had strolled
came to my mouth at once
but they must have changed much by now.
