麻布が終わった翌日帰ってきて、昨日までの２日間
日本を代表するワイナリーのS社とM社を訪ねる機会が
ありました。畑や醸造施設を見せて頂き、詳しく話を
聞くことができました。　そして繊細なワインのテイスティングもさせて
頂きました。関係者の皆様に感謝致します。
葡萄栽培、ワイン醸造に掛ける思いや技術論に共通項はたくさん
ありました。

そこで考えたこと。これからのこと。

I returned home the day after the Azabu Festival and left
for visiting the prominent top two winemaker in Japan.
I was lucky to have such chance to see the vineyards and
the winery facilities as well as tasting delicate wines.
I felt we share the common thoughts and
the attitude to make good wine in Japan. Many thanks to the
people concerned this trip.

There I thought to myself many things especially what I shall do
from now on.

25日、26日と麻布十番納涼祭りに出店していました。
暑い中、多くの方々が来場来店されました。おいで頂いた
皆様ありがとうございました。旧知の方々との再会、新しい
出会いがたくさんあり、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことが
出来ました。これを糧にまた一歩前進してゆきたいと
思います。次回があれば、さらに内容を充実させたいと
思います。やはり、いいものを持ってゆかないとダメだな
ということを感じました。シャルドネを持っていって
よかったなと。

印象深いのは。「最強のきゅうり」八町きゅうりを求めて
何十人も列を作ったほど人気だったことと。

ミッドタウンの鎧塚さんのお店で食べたデザートと
レジ前にて販売して頂いている当社のワインを発見
したことでした。最近のこのワインの、熟成による
充実ぶりを知っていたので、うれしく思いました。

I was participating in the famous Azabu Juban Summer
Festival on Aug 25-26. I was very happy to see so many
people visiting the festival and our Suzaka Booths. I enjoyed
the meeting with old friends and the new people. I will improve
further based on this experience. Our wines and the products
will become more powerful and more appealing. What I felt most
was that the people would be only happy with the best products.
I was lucky to bring and introduce one of our top line products,
Chardonnay 2010.

Here is one of most impressive incident. That was the long queue
for the Hatcho Kyuri cucumber from Suzaka. Three hundreds and
four hundreds pieces on each day sold quite quickly.

Another thing is that I visited the dessert shop of Toshi Yoroiduka
at Midtown in Roppongi. The sweet was marvelous and what
pleased me most was our wine displayed by the register machine.
As it has matured well in the bottle recently, I was happy that this
was sold at such a prestigious place.

最近のメルローと
リンゴ畑。

今年は葡萄が少し早い様な…。

Merlot vineyard and apple orchard recently.
Grapes look getting ripening sooner this year.

今年の須坂の夏は音楽盛り。
毎週金土は駅前ミュージックビアホール。
ハワイアンや地元ミュージシャンのパフォーマンス。
明日と明後日で最後です。

8月12日は蔵の街音楽祭。お花市の夕べ。
銀座通りに賑わいが生まれました。

Summer in Suzaka thi year is full of music.
Every Friday and Saturday there were music beer hall
events held in front of Suzaka Station. People enjoyed
music and Hawaiian dances performed by local people.
Tomorrow and the Saturday are the last stages.

On August 12, we had Summer Musical Festival in Kura-
No-Machi area with flower market. Here the people got
together and enjoyed one night festival at Ginza Street in
Suzaka.

また今年も麻布十番納涼祭りに須坂市の一員として
参加します。8月25日、26日。午後3時から午後9時まで。
美味しいもの色々あります。良く冷えたワインでそぞろ歩き。
今年は秘密兵器もあり。楽しんで頂きます。
