21日と22日は麻布十番での「信州農林産物まつり」に
須坂グリーンツーリズムとして参加して来ました。
須坂と、農作業体験などを農産物とワインを売りながら
宣伝して来た訳ですが、一日目は時折大雨の荒れ模様で
人出はまばら。大量に売れ残りがでるのではないかと
心配になりました。

二日目、天気は回復して過ごしやすい天気に。
大勢の方がそぞろ歩きしながら買い物をしてくださいました。
ありがとうございます。お蔭様で、生鮮農産物は完売しました。
楠わいなりーの巨峰、ナガノパープル、種無し巨峰も完売でした。
毎年人気商品が違って、売れ筋が読めないのが苦労です。
それにしても、ナガノパープルをご存じない方が多いのは意外
でした。

ワインを買いにわざわざおいで下さった方々、感謝です。
以前須坂のお店に来て頂いた方々やヴィーニュの会会員の方々、
ご来場ありがとうございます。
私は所用で少し早めに失礼したので、お会いできなかった方々
もいて、すみませんでした。

I participated in the Shinshu Food Fair at Azabu Juban on
September 21 and 22. I went there as a member of Suzaka
Green Tourism and introduced Farming Excursion in Suzaka
while I was selling agricultural produce and wines. It rained
heavily from time to time on the first day and I worried about
the poor sales and many leftovers.

However, it turned fine autumnal day on the second day. Many
people came out and walk around the fair site. Thanks to them,
all of our fresh veges and fruits were sold out including our
kyoho, Nagano Purple and seedless kyoho grapes from
Kusunoki Winery. Every year the popular item is not same
and it is a big wonder to me. I found that Nagano Purple grape
was not so much known yet there.

I thank you to the people who came to purchase my wines there,
specially those who had visited our shop in Suzaka before or those
who were indeed members of our Vigne Mmembership Club. I am
sorry I left the fair a bit earlier due to an appointment in Suzaka.

今朝早く電話を頂いた。
送った巨峰が不味かったとの事だった。
しかも花軸が黒く、ポロポロと脱粒したと。
どうも、見落としがあった様で、本来使うべきで
ない房が混じってしまったらしい。まず、起こることが
無いようなことではあるが、こういう事もあるのだ。
それでもこういう事を率直に伝えて頂けるのはありがたい。
二度と起こらないように、より注意を払うようになるから。

そういえば、以前お店で赤ワインを買われたというお客様
からメールを頂いたことがある。お店でテイスティングして
美味しかったのだが、家で開けてみたら変質していたと。
ワインではこういうことは残念ながら必ず起こる事なのだ。
いわゆる「ブショネ」。で、そのメールに返信したらところ、
どうもＰＣからの着信拒否の設定をしているらしくメッセージ
が帰ってきてしまう。携帯のメールアドレスのようだったので
携帯からメッセージを出したのだが、無しのつぶて。
お心あたりのお客様がいたら、もう一度コンタクト下さい。
遅ればせながらお願い致します。

I received a call this morning from a customer. She said the kyoho
grapes I sent to her tasted bad and the that the rachis was black
with falling berries. The bunch that should not be sent was sent by
mistake somehow which should not happen. But it did.
I was rather glad to know that she told me about the grape
condition because I would be more careful to choose good ones to
send.

Speaking of a claim, I had received an e-mail message from another
customer saying that the wine she had bought tasted bad even though
the one she had tasted at my shop had been OK. Unfortunately it happens
from time to time in case of wine which is so called bouchonne in French.

I replied to that mail in vain as it seemed her computer did not accept
message from PC. So I tried to send a message by my handphone but
no reply did reach me. If you were the one, please contact me again.

小さな贈答用パック作ってみました。
りんごジュース、玉葱ドレッシング、
ナガノパープル食べきりサイズ、
プラス種無し巨峰ミニサイズ。
それぞれ特色があるのだけれど、プレゼンテーション
に改善の余地あり。

I was asked to make a small gift pack of my products.
It consists of a bottle of apple juice, onion dressing,
a small bunch of Nagano Purple and seedless Kyoho
grape. I need to improve its presentation.

東京都庁　信州須坂ふるさとフェア
楠わいなりーは9月27日、10月1日参加です。

夜になっても中々気温が下がらない。
夕べも大分暑苦しかった。9月も半ばを
過ぎているのだが。昼はまるで真夏並みの
暑さで、葡萄の荷造りをしている倉庫では
何度も屋根に水を撒いた。今日は台風の影響か
やけに風が強かった。日本海側を進む時は
要注意なのだ。リンゴ農家の憂鬱。

The temperature stays rather high for a few days
and the it was warm last night even though we passed
the middle of September. During day time, it was like
a mid summer day and I have to spread water over on the
top of the warehouse roof a few times yesterday where we
were packaging picked grapes.

Today, it was warm and windy because of the typhoon. We have
to be careful when a typhoon goes through The Japan Sea.
I can imagine apple growers’ worry.
