暖冬とは書いたが、
冬のことで、それなりに
天気が変わると
一気に寒くなる。
日中は日が差していても
曇ると冬の景色。

今日は明覚山が
少し白くなった。
明日は今日よりも
寒くなるようで
年末らしくなってきた。

It is warmer this winter than
usual year but the weather suddely
changes and it gets cold as it
is winter. After the noon time
of full of sun shine, it tunrs
to be a hazy witer day in the
afternoon once the sun is blocked
by thick clouds.

The Myokaku-san mountain is
covered with snow today. The
temperature is expected to go
down tomorrow. I have started feeling
the year-end air　all the way now.

昨夜来雨が激しく降って
今日も夕方まで雨模様の
一日だった。午後を過ぎて
大分気温が下がってきて
みぞれやら雪混じりの
雨となった。この調子なら
雪になるかとおもいきや
雨は上がってしまい、今夜
はもう降りそうにない。

この調子だと今年中は雪は
積もらないかも。
暖冬で県内各地のスキー場も
雪不足で困っているようだ。
降れば降ったで困ったことも
多いのだが、やはり冬には
それなりの雪がないと
調子が狂う。

It has been raining hard since
last night and it was drizzling
whole day until the evening.
The temperature went down afternoon
and snow flakes were seen in the rain.
It seemed as if it would snow
tongiht but suddenly it stopped and
would not snow any more tonight.

I am afraing we will not have
snow within this year. I will be
a warm winter. I hear they ski
busiess is in trouble this season.
Heavy snow certainly causes some
troubles to our lives but no snow
is much worse for winter. I feel
out of order, too.

昨日挽けた蕎麦を取りに
行ったのだが、蕎麦作りの
仲間が蕎麦を食べたいというので
また食べ歩きになってしまった。
これからしばらく
蕎麦打ちなど、蕎麦の
行事が続く。

さて、そんな冬の夜
とあるソワレに
参加。こんな感じの駅から
電車で往復して、

出たワインは6種類。
100ｍｌづつ飲んでも600ｍｌは
飲んでしまう。私には
少々きつかった。
料理の量は少なめで
（適正量だということ）
よかったが、やはり
ゆっくり飲んで
直ぐに休めるような
環境があらまほしいな。

これで今月のメインの
飲み会は終了。
ようやく畑に
でられそう。

Yesterday I went to pick up
our ground buckwheat. As buckwheat
growing group members wanted to
eat the soba again, it turned to
be another soba tasting excursion.
We will have a series of buckwheat
noodle session for a while.

On such a winter's weekend, I
joined a soiree or a dinner organized by a
winery. I went there by train from such
a station and the venue and the dinner was
shown in the photograph.

Six kinds of wines were presented.
Each glass of wines of 100ml becomes
over 600ml in total, it was too much for
me. Luckily each dish was in a small
portion, I was all right after the dinner.
However, I really want to have an accomodation
after such a dinner. It could be a
suggestion to the concept of my own winery.

Most of the drinking session was over
with this soiree for December, I can
now go out in the vineyard again!

半分故障しているデジカメを
後生大事に持ち歩いているのに
こういうときに限って
メモリースティックを入れ
忘れている。
夕刻の版画美術館での
ライトアップの表彰式
のパーティー、水くれトーバンズ
のケンさんが、市長のリクエストに
答えて「百々川橋」を歌って
くれた。解散ライブから１ヶ月以上
ぶりに聞きました。しっとりと
いい感じでした。

さて、いくつかのプロジェクトの
ご紹介です。

プロジェクト1.
Club T.M.N.とのコラボで
ワイン会を峰の原でやります。
今年ワイン葡萄の収穫会にTMN関係の
方々が参加していただいたので、
どんなワインができているかを
飲んで頂こうという企画です。
昼間はもちろんスキーを履いて
雪山ピクニックです。

プロジェクト2.
味噌作りツアー。
毎年手前味噌を仕込んでいますが、
地元だけでなく遠方の方にも参加
してもらおうというプロジェクトです。
峰の原とのコラボで企画中です。
できたら木桶でやりたいかなと…。

プロジェクトK.
当面最大のプロジェクト。
いよいよ始動か？
詳しくはおいおいと紹介
してゆきます。関連のプチ・プロジェクトを
少しずつ実施の予定。

I always bring my digital camera
which is almost out of order and
I often find it without a memory
stick when I really want to take
a photo. At the reception of the
Light Up competition at Printing Museum
in the evening, Ken-san happened to sing
the famous song DODOGAWA-BASHI Bridge
at the request of the Mayor.
She sang it in a ballad version and
sounded very touching. I had no choice
but to use my cell phone camerea.

Now I want to introduce a few
prjecs as follows:

Project No.1
Wine session at Minenohara
in collaboration with Club TMN.
Club TMN is an activity group
mainly organized by the TMN Ski
School students and its coach
Mr. Mochidzuki. Many of them
participated in my wine grape
harvest. Therefore I will introduce
my wines to them at the occasion
when they come to ski tour in
Minenohara. For detail, please check

Project No.2
Miso making tour.
I make my own miso every year.
At this event, a group of farmers
including me in collaboration with
Minenohara hotel owners will organize
a miso making session by inviting
people from big cities. We will use
locally grown chemical-free beans.

Project K.
It is the biggest project for the
time being. The project seems to
take off shortly or has already
taken off to the goal. The details
may be released from time to time.
Related smaller projects will come
up from time to time and will be
introduced here.

先日御紹介したばかりですが、
須坂の菜種油売り切れました。
市内の何店舗かにはまだ
あるかもしれませんが、
栽培・製造元である
NPO法人にもほとんど
在庫がなくなりました。

生産本数が少ないため
アッという間に幻の
菜種油になってしまいました。

菜種の収穫に使う
コンバインの手当てが
難しく、来年は栽培中止
かという危惧がありましたが、
好評な販売に元気づけられて
来年は更に栽培面積を
増やそうかという話
も出てきたようです。

菜種、大豆、蕎麦は
一つのコンバインで収穫
できるので（稲用は
使えない）、これが気安く
使えると遊休荒廃農地が
減って、これらの栽培を
後押しすることになります。
何百万円もするので、そうそう
簡単な話ではないのですが…。

そうそうメルローも大分在庫が少なく
なってきました。ご希望の方は

I am pleased to and am sorry to
announce that the rape seed oil
which I introduced here some days ago
is sold out. There may be a few bottles
available at shops in down town but
there is no moer stock at the grower-
seller NPO.

As the production is so little it
has become a mirage in the desert.

Because the harvester machine is
not easily available for the
harvest physically and economically,
the NPO almost gave up continuing
the project next year. However,
thanks to the fast sale of the
oil this year, they are very much
encouraged and want to expand the
area more next year.

Rape seed, beans and buckwheat
can be harvested by the same harvester
machine (the one for rice is not compatible),
one machine in the region would help the
growers very much who are in the most cases
grow these crops on the abandoned farm land.
One machine will also help reduce the
unused farm land. However, as one costs more
than 5 million Japanese Yen, it is not
easily purchased by samller size farmers
or such unstable NPO.
