前にもお知らせしましたが、9月17日、18日と
麻布十番にある広場「パティオ十番」で催される
「長野県農林産物祭り」に参加します。ワインの試飲
販売始め、旬の農産物を販売しつつ、須坂市での農業体験
等のお知らせをします。美味しいものたくさんありますので
是非おいで下さい。
時間は両日とも午前10時から午後4時までです。

今日はその準備で、葡萄、プルーン、桃、などなどを
収穫したり集めに行ったりと大忙しでした。
人気の玉ドレ、フレッシュなみょうが、ねぎに枝豆、伝統野菜の
村山ごぼうなども販売いたします。おいしい、ジャムやジュース
に漬物もお試し下さい。

終日の雨が上がった夕刻の一瞬日が照りました。
明日はよいことがあるかな。

As announced before, I will be participating in the
Nagano Agriculture Produce Festival at Patio Juban
Inside Azabujuban town in Tokyo. Wine tasting is offered
And many seasonal produces will be sold and farm
experience event in Suzaka will be introduced.
As there will be many local delights, please come and join
us in an autumnal day. Time 10:00 to 16:00 for both dates.

I was so busy today for the event preparation, harvesting
and collecting the produces from here and there. Popular
onion dressing, fresh Japanese ginger, leak, green peas,
and local burdock with jam and juice, and locally made
Japanese pickles with locally grown traditional veges.

It rained whole day today but it shined just once
towards the evening and light up the mountain.
I hope there will be something good happening
at the event.

つい昨日まで暑い日が続いていたのでは
なかったのか。いつの間にか、空気も景色も
秋色になっている。

I wonder if summer was still there just yesterday?
But today, the air and the scenes have changed into
those in autumn. Seasons change and so does the color.

なんて言うことはないのだが、ちょっとした異変が
おきているといって良いかも。
その１
出荷されている量が少ない。

例年ならこんなにすきずきしていないのに。
色がついていない（着色不良）なので出せないらしい。

その２
形が悪い。

例年写真の手前に、ライス（普通店頭で一房1,000円くらいで並ぶ
クラスのぶどう）や一房パック（店頭で5-600円くらい）の箱が
並ぶのに、今年はそれが極端に少なくて、いわゆるパック
（広告で298円から398円で並ぶクラスのもの）しか出ていない。
つまり、房形が悪くしかも小房が多いということ。

我が園地も例外ではなく、贈答用に使える房が少なくて
四苦八苦しています。

Yes, I’m kidding. No such things happen but we have
very different year for kyoho shipping this year.

Difference No.1
Very few kyoho shipping.
The grape centre this year has a lot of vacant space.
As the grape do not have sufficient dark color on the
skin, the producers are hesitant to ship such grapes.

Difference No.2
Bad bunch shape.
Usually, here are many boxes called ‘rice cases’ and
one bunch pack cases at the closer area in normal year
but you can find it vacant. These cases are expected to fetch
higher price like \500 to \1000 yen per bunch. But this year,
there are so many 2L packs usually priced at \298 to \398
per pack.

All these are because of the bad shape and small bunches.
My vineyard is not an exemption and as such I am in difficulty
to find sufficient number of good looking bunches.

米の刈り取りも既に始まって、
すっかり景色は秋モード。
夏の間は緑色だった、バッタや
カマキリも保護色というのか
秋モードになってきた。

巨峰の収穫に気をとられていたが、
ワイン葡萄もそろそろ収穫準備だ。

Rice harvesting has begun around here and the scenery
has changed to autumn color. Grasshoppers and mantis
also have changed their color from green in summer to
dark disguising protective color in autumn.

While kyoho harvesting is in the busiest time but I have
to start preparing winegrape harvest,too.

ようやく秋風を感じた。
そして朝、夕と涼しくなったと感ずるように
なった。昼間も今日当りは過ごし易かったが
明日はまた33度の予報が出ている。
今日は収穫休みの日、明日からまた収穫と出荷の
慌ただしい日々となる。

今朝は早朝から大豆畑の草取り。これで6朝目。
冬から来春には味噌を仕込む予定。

種を蒔いてから一月も経っていないが、蕎麦畑は
満開の花だ。

I have all the way felt the autumn breeze and
noticed that it gets cooler in the morning and evening.
It was a nice fine autumn weather during daytime but
higher temperature is forecasted for tomorrow up to
33 degree C. It was a resting day without harvesting
Kyoho grapes today but again I will be very busy for
the harvesting and shipping.

I joined the weed pulling operation early this morning in
our soy beans field. This was the sixth time of weed pulling.
I am planning to make miso with the soy beans during winter
to next spring.
