昨年一年間の須坂市グリーンツーリズム研究会の
活動報告会兼試食会を行った。

（やってみたら楽しかった）

（試食に舌鼓）

トライアルを重ねて来て、
やっとこ見えてきたものがある。須坂らしいグリーンツーリズム
の一つの姿。

嬉しかったことの一つは、市役所の既に異動してしまっている
前の担当者の方たちが駆けつけてくれたこと。
あの時の種が、少し形になりつつあることを見てもらえたかな。

（料理の数々）

ともあれ、約70人ほどの参加者があり。報告会後の
試食会では、女性メンバー3人が主に料理を担当。
地元の食材で作られた多種多彩な料理が大好評でした。
地元の人たちが知らない須坂（里山に農業）、
地元の人たちも実は知らない料理というものが
たくさんあって、なんだか須坂再認識
の一日という感じでしたね。

We had a activity report meeting of Suzaka Green
Tourism Study Group with sold food buffet today.

What our group has done in the past year was very
obvious according to today’s report and the report
seemed to suggest what we can do in Suzaka which was
our own style of green tourism.

What pleased me very much was the attendance of the
former city hall officers once in charge of the green tourism
and now moved to other section. Thanks to them, our activities
had chance to taxi out to the runway.

Any how, we had about seventy paid attendances and
they understood our reports and found very delicious
local food made mainly by local produce. They seemed
to find their unknown aspects of Suzaka like village
scenes and agriculture, and enjoyed local foods that they
did not know or they did not know how to cook. It was
a meaningful Suzaka finding day for us and for the attendance.

須坂でも一冬に2度や3度は大雪が降る。
今日須坂は雪国になった。豪雪地帯に比べれば
たいしたことはないのだろうが、たいした雪が
降った。おかげで雪かきを3‐4度やった。

昨日も雪だったのだが、それほどではなく、
オープンカーで走る人もあったくらいだ。
（おいおい！）

昨夜から降った雪が積もり、昼間少し融けたが
また夕刻から降り始めた。明日の朝までにまた
積もりそうだな。

We had heavy snow a few times during winter
in Suzaka. Suzaka became a snow country today.
The snowfall should be nothing by comparing with
that of real snow country but it snowed a lot.
So I had to shovel the snow whole day.

Actually it did snow yesterday but it was not
so heavy tha I found a driver driving an open
car in the snow.(Kidding !)

We had quite a few depth of snow this morning which melted
a bit during the day but the snow started falling again towards
the late afternoon. It would another snowy day tomorrow and
will have to shovel again.

さて、1月17日（月）午後4時より、シルキー３Ｆにて
須坂市グリーンツーリズム研究会（私もメンバーです）の
昨年の活動報告会件試食会を開催します。

写真等により、私の畑の収穫会も含めた昨年の活動のご紹介
と、昨年始めて体験ツアーを行った方々の発表などがあります。
井上の里山めぐり（カタクリと桜）、味噌作り体験、
本郷地区の歴史散策とたけのこ採り体験、
塩野のまこもだけ収穫体験、等です。
発表会の後は、地元の料理の試食会です。
参加費は1,000円ですが、試食費とお考え下さい。

どんなことをやったのか、初めて体験をやった農家の
感想は？などなど、是非おいで下さい。

There will be a meeting of reporting agritourism
Activities in Suzaka at the Silky Hall 3F at 4pm on
January 17, 2011 by Suzaka Agritourism Study Group.

You can see the slide show of the activities of the group
members and some of them who tried such activities for the
first time will be reporting how they felt before and after
and what they found from such activities. They found it
easier to do than to worry about.

These activities include grape picking which is mine,
walk around in the village and watch wild flowers and
cherry blossoms, miso making, historical walk in a small
village of Hongo, Makomo vegetable harvest, etc.

The admission is 1,000 per person and it includes the
tasting of local dishes.

Why don’t you come and see how the memberss tried their
first agritourism at home.

大分寒くなってきて、ようやくいつもの
冬の様相になってきました。といっても
須坂あたりは積雪もほとんど無くて、
大分畑に人が出ています。りんごも葡萄も
今は剪定です。

3が日と連休で、ようやく畑に出られて
剪定と防寒帯巻きをやっています。
もちろん一人では全然進まないので
人手を頼んでですけどね。

この冬一番の寒波が来る前に、ようやく
巻き終えました。

It’s getting colder and the weather has become
that of winter all the way. However, we have little
snow here in Suzaka and we can fine many farmers
in apple orchards and vineyards. They are busy pruning
now.

I have managed to go out in the vineyards only on holidays,
the first three days of the year and the three day holidays of
this weekend, to prune and wrap the vines with cold protection.
Of course, only one cannot proceed so fast, I had to ask for the
helping hands.

I finished one of the vineyards at the highest altitude the
other day before the strongest cold front of this winter came around.

埼玉での打ち合わせに行く途中の
横川で休憩。アロマに誘われて
つい1杯。

どこにでもあるというのは
すごいことだな。低価格を売り物に
しているわけでもないのに。

缶コーヒーもあるのに、何で
人はスタバに行くのか。

On the way to Saitama for a meeting,
we just dropped by at Yokokawa Service Area for
a short break. Then I had a cup of coffee at Sutaba
called in by the aroma.

It is indeed amazing that we can fine a shop everywhere
throughout Japan. The coffee is not selling for the low price.
There are many canned coffee vending machines but why
do the people go to Sutaba?
