今須坂市内では桜がほぼ満開になっているようだ。
普段は臥竜公園より一週間は遅い須坂温泉の桜も
満開に近い。今朝は2度になって霜が降りた。
寒いせいか、遅い遅いと思っていたら、いつの間にか
あちこちの桜が同時期に満開になっている。しかも
梅も満開。変な天気のせいだな。

It seems that most of cherry blossoms in Suzaka are
in full bloom. Usually cherry blossoms at Suzaka Hot
Spa come late by one week than those at Garyu Koen
Park that is one of the 100 sakura viewing place in Japan.
The temperature this morning was 2 degrees C this morning
and we had frost early morning. Due to such cold weather,
we find the cherry blossoms are late this year but all of a
sudden they are in mostly full bloom these days. Oddly the plums
are in full bloom, too at the same time. This must be due to
the funny weather of this spring.

昼間の暖かさが嘘のように夜になって
冷えこんできた。明朝は2度という予報。

5月1日、蔵の朝市で風評被害を受けている
茨城県産のハウスもののピーマンとレタスを
試験的に売ります。6月の朝市では宣伝もして
規模を拡大してやる予定ですが、その予行練習
です。

農家同士助け合わないとね。

It was warm during day time but It gets cold
in the night and the temperature tomorrow morning
is forecasted as 2 degree C. Frost is expected, too.

On May 1, at the market of Kurano Asaichi, we will sell
green house grown green pepper and lettuce from Ibaraki Prefecture where
the growers suffering from the false rumors of radio active contamination
on their products. In June, we will prepare more vegetables with advance
announcement. It is just a trial sale this time.

We, farmers, need to help each other in time of trouble.

今年の収穫が楽しみです。

一昨日の天気とは一変して
暑いくらいの日差し。でも、夕方は
寒さを感じる。
臥竜公園の桜もまだ満開とは行かないようだ。

長野市の桜は見たところ満開の様で、当地も
もうじきなのは間違いない。

そんななか、カシスの芽吹きと
アーモンドの花。

It was very warm today despite of the coldness
the day before yesterday. But it got chilly in the
evening. The famous cherry blossoms at Garyu
Koen Park is not in full bloom yet.

Those in neighboring Nagano city are in full bloom so
it is just the matter of time.

The two pictures of Spring in my farm are bud burst of
black currant and the almond flowers.

数日来の陽気が嘘のように
降る冷たい雨の中、葡萄の誘引を
続ける。雪が混じるのかと思ったほどだ。
桜も去年より1週間は遅れている。

ただ、着実に季節は進んでいる。
カラスノエンドウも大分大きくなって
きている。

The warm weather of last few days seem as if they
had been in the dream today. We went on cane training
in the very cold rain. I thought I would see snow in the rain.
The cherry blossoms are delayed by one week this year when
comparing with last year.

But the season is advancing and the tare looks growing bigger
each day.
