先週末の収穫会の様子です。

ランチの後でリラックス
オーストリアからも一名参加でした。

今回は女川の岡清様直送のサンマも
登場。網を用意するんでした！
でも美味でした。

日曜日は、小学生の姉妹が手伝ってくれました。
畑作業おもしろかったかな。随分集中して
楽しそうだったけど。

9月29日の今年一番目の収穫会は特別な収穫会となりました。
収穫の後シャトーの中庭あるいはレストランでの食事とは
ゆきませんが、晴天の下畑の中での野趣溢れる食事会です。

畑でワイン会もおつなもの

何が特別かというと、
地元の山のきのこのきのこ汁やおやき、野菜の他に
ダボス牧場から、まず市中では手に入らない牛肉と
ポーク、さらにお知り合いの牧場からのソーセージ。
しかも牧場主の伊藤さんが自ら焼いてくださいました。

それに加えて原香恋さんによるチェロの生演奏。
葡萄畑のぶどうの畝の中でとても素敵なひと時を
過ごせました。チェロを聴いてきっとメルローが
一層メロウなワインになってくれるでしょう。

The first grape picking event on September 29 was a special one.
The lunch after grape picking was not so sophisticated as the one
in the chateau courtyard or in the fine restaurant but it was
a nice lunch under the very clear sky.

Why it was so special?
As usual we served mountain mushroom soup, local oyaki dampling,
fresh vegetables, etc but in addition we managed arrange very
special meat directly from the cattle owner as well as pork sausage
from his friend’s hog yard. Mr. Itoh, the owner of the cattle field
came to cook the meat.

What is more, we had very nice live cello music performed by Ms. Karen Hara.
What a nice moment in the vineyard between the vine rows.
I hope that my Merlot wine will become mellow after hearing the cello music.

そして彼岸花と明覚山。

On the way back from grape picking early in the morning.
The Iizuna mountain is seen from the apple orchard.

And cluster amaryllis with Myokakusan mountain.

掘り始めたら早いですね。
4メートル掘っても水が出ないので
工事関係者も驚いています。
それほど水はけが良いのです。
葡萄栽培には適しているということ。

The construction has begun and it goes on
so smoothly. The constructors were surprised
as there is no water even after digging four meters.
It means the soil is super permeable! Good for
grape growing.

今日パティシエの鎧塚俊彦さんと川島なお美さん夫妻が
ワイナリーを訪ねて下さいました。プロヴァンズのロゼと同じ
製法で作った「鎧塚アミュレット」を大変お気に召されたようで、
私もたくさん激励の言葉を頂戴しました。

昨日は須坂で大勢の方々と懇親されたようで、何人かの方が
フェイスブックなどで、とても気さくで素敵なご夫妻で大人気
でしたと書いていましたが、私も全く同意見です。

ショップのスタッフが生の川島さんを間近で見て、すごく
素敵な方だと感激していました。

Mr. Toshihiko Yoroizuka, a famous chef-patissier and his wife
Naomi Kawashima, a famous actress visited our winery today.
Ms. Kawashima liked our Rose Wine,Yoroizuka Amulet very much
and encouraged me a lot. I explained that the wine was made in
similar ways as the Provence Rose wine.

They joined a local Lion’s Club party last night in Suzaka and I found
some comments in FB saying that they were very friendly and humble.
They were much nicer couple than imagined in TV shows.
I share the idea.

Our shop staff was so moved to have looked the
actress so closely and at her friendliness.
