今日も早朝から薬剤散布。
ワイン葡萄がメインでした。

今日は父の七回目の命日。
7回忌は今度の土曜日になり、
今日はお墓参りだけ。

寺内（じない）というお寺が集まっている
街の一画にあるお墓に行ってきました。
このあたりは以前はもっと沢山
お寺が集まっていたらしい。
参道に趣があり、桜も随分年季が
入っている。今日は花びらが陽光
の中舞っていました。

畑の中通りかかった「ふくちゃん農園」
（http://blog.goo.ne.jp/ringring8h）
の黄金桃の畑。鮮やかな濃いピンク色です。

同じくふくちゃんが作っているりんごの
つぼみです。

今須坂近辺はサクランボの白い花が満開近く
なっています。そういえば最近テレビのCM
で「さくらんぼの花の咲くころ」というフランスの
素適な、懐かしい歌が流れてきますね。なんとなく
甘酸っぱいメロディーです。

I sprayed this morning in the winegrape
vineyards.

It was the 7th anniversary day of my father's death.
I went to pray at the temple where his soul is resting.
We will be having 7th anniverasary ceremony on coming
Saturday. So I just went there to pray.

The area is called 'Jinai' which literally mean 'inside
temples'. The atmosphere is different there even though
it is inside a part of downtown as shown on the picture.
The cherry trees there seem very old which are shedding
cherry flower petals in the sunny afternoon.

Here are some more fruit flowers.
First one is a kind of peach which is called 'Oh-gonto' meaning
Golden Peach. It was taken at the Fukuchan Farm. Its shocking pink
colour is brilliant.

Second one is the flower buds of apples alos grown by Fukuchan Farm.

Third one is the cherry flowers. Recently I have noticed
frequently the famous old French song
'When the cherry blossoms bloom' being palyed on TV commercial.
The song makes me feel remembering very old time. Maybe because
I had heard the song for the first time
just before my adolescence time began.

アンカーを埋めた畑で
測量して、支柱を立てる位置
に印をつける。苗植え会の為には
後は、苗を植える
穴を用意して、仮植えしてある
苗木を掘り出すだけ。
だけ、というか、結構まだまだ
やる事はある。
植えた後も、支柱を立てたり
ワイヤーを張ったりと。

開墾中の畑の北側にある
ネクタリンの畑です。
ピンクの花が美しい。

摘蕾（てきらい）といって、
蕾のうちから枝に残す実の
数を調整する作業が始まってます。
今は花摘みのようです。

Developing vineyard

After the agricultural spray early
in the morning, I marked the mid post
positions in the newly developing vineyard.

For the vine planting event, I only have to
dig the planting holes and dig the young vines
from the provisional planting site. I said only
but there are more to do. After the planting, too,
I have to pile the posts and put the fruiting wires.

In the north of this new vineyard, there is an
orchard of Nectarine fruit. They are flowering now.
Flower picking operatio is going on in this
orchard. It is to adjust the number of fruits
on the branch.　

今日の須坂温泉脇
八木沢川沿いの桜。

満開に、若緑の葉っぱの
小さいのがちらほら。
最近ここで花見をする
人達が増えた。

畑での作業の後
そこかしこに生えている
のびろを取る。
正確には「のびる」というのかな？
鮮烈な刺激的な香り。

沢山とってきたつもりでも、
食べられる丸い部分だけ切り出すと
ほんのちょっと。
だしと共にしょうゆ漬けにする。
酒のつまみだね。

Today’s Suzaka Onsen cherry blossoms by
Yagisawa-gawa river. They are in full bloom
though I can find some young green leaves.
There are coming many more people to
enjoy watching and eating under the blossoms.

After vineyards operation, I picked
Nobiro or Japanese spring onions.
Strong smell of fresh Spring.
The shape is like onion. The edible
round root is very tiny. I simmered them
with broth and soy sauce for my sake.

坂田で巨峰の植え替えの
為穴を掘っていると、カラスの
泣き声がかまびすしい。

空を見上げると鳶をカラス
が追いかけている。どうも
りんご畑上空のカラスの
制空圏に入ったらしい。

鳶はしばらく2羽に追われていたが
此方の空に逃げ込んだのか
カラスは消えてしまった。

その後私の畑近くの上空を
しばらく旋回していたが、
そのうちどこへとも無く
飛び去ってしまった。

この畑は一昨年カラスに巨峰を随分
つつかれてしまって困った
ものだったが、今年はどうなんだ
ろうか。対策は考えておかないと。

坂田の丘から鎌田山の南斜面を望むと
大分桜が目立つようになった。
農業を始めた5年前は、少し目につく
程度だったのに、今は花見に訪れる
人もいるようだ。

景色という物はたった1本から始まった
ものが、その後時を経て様変わりしてしまう。
高遠の桜も1本1本の植樹からの始まりだという。

それを思うと、着実な毎年の作業の
積み重ねが物になる日が来るんだろうな
と自身を励ましている自分がいたりする。

While I was digging a hole for kyoho transplanting,
I heard crows screaming. When I looked up, a kite was
being chased by two crows. Maybe it happened to have
infringed crows' controled air territory.

After the crows vanished, the kite circled above
near my vineyard for a while and faded away somewhere.

I had a lot of damages on my kyoho grapes by
crows two years ago. I wonder if I have to do
something against crows this year.

Watching the south facing side of Kamata-yama hill from
Sakata area, I noticed many cherry trees in full bloom.
When I first started farming five years agao, I was able
to locate only a few trees. But today, many people visit
there to enjoy cherry blossoms.

Scenery can be changed by starting planting only one
tree. After a while　the accumulation of simple things or
daily routin can lead to a different world. I hear that
the famous cherry trees in Takato started by only one
cherry planting.

By thingking so, I found myself to be hopeful
to be successful by the accumulation of everyday
workings. Life goes on and vines grow every year
if I work on.

3月31日のブログで

明覚山を紹介しました。

山の色が少～し
ほんの少し薄い緑色に
覆われ始めたのが
わかるでしょうか。
これからどんどん
明るくなります。

ところで
これは何でしょう？

りんごの木の接木を
しているところです。
この時季見かけることが
あります。多分晩生種のふじ
を中生種のシナノゴールド
に更新しているのでしょうね。

A view of Kyokaku-san today.
I introduced the mountain with snow
on this blog on March 31.
A kind of fixed point observation.

Can you see the surface of the mountain
is covered with pale young green. It will
change its colour very rapidly from now on.

By the way, can you tell what it is.
It's an apple tree grafting. You can find
these operation at around this time of
the year.

Probably newer apple SHINANO GOLD may be
grafted to popular Fuji apple. Recently
mid season apples like Shinano Gold, Shinano
Sweet and Akibae are getting popularity.
Because of the higher price they can fetch,
Fuji growers are shifting to these mid season
apples than late season one which is Fuji.
