昨日　助っ人の引き合いがあると
書いたが、どうもフィーリングが合わない。
チョト違うのだ。彼等、彼女等に話しても
どうも波長が合わない。よ～くよく考えてみる。

彼等・彼女等は単なるワーキング・ハンズとして
働いているわけではないらしいのだ。生活上の要求は
あるとしても、それは切実なものではなく、当面
あくまで自分としてそれができるのか、したいのか
ということが大事なようだ。

だから引き合いがあるからとサポートセンター
に寄せられているような、要求を彼等に伝えても、
やってもいいという返事は来るが、積極的にやりたい
というわけでもないらしい。

できれば自分のところで彼等を雇えるほど
仕事があれば良いのだが、あいにくそういうわけでも
無いし、継続的に作業が続くわけでもない。

どうすればそうできるのか、このところそんなことを
考えている。　

I wrote here that there were a few inquiries for
casual work in the farm yards. But the response from
them was not what I expeced.

They, young snow boarders, would not work just as
helping hands. Even though they have the requirements
of daily life but it is not so much serious as what they
acutually can accept to do or what they want to do.

Therefore even though I told them what was gathered at
the Support Center, they would not show their interest.
They mind waht they think fit to their lifestyle.

Only if I could hire them for whole growing season
of grapes but I dont't have such work or seamless job.

How can I make it happen ?　This is waht I am thinking of
recently.

最近こんな贈答用ワイン詰め合わせ
の注文を頂いています。

メルロー2006とソーヴィニオン・ブラン2007です。
白ワインで用意できるのがSBしかないので
この組み合わせです。　
メルローは評判がよくなっているし、SBも
日本のSBとして好評です。

房切りを手伝ってくれているスノーボーダーの者達です。

令子ちゃん、橋本君、山下君
祢津君、その他春奈ちゃんに丸山君。
その世界では有名人らしいのですが。
シーズンオフは自然派として、農作業が苦にならない
様です。お昼も景色のいい場所に行って
食べたりと楽しそうです。
助っ人として、是非紹介して欲しいという
引き合いが来ています。

Recently I have received such orders in Gift Wine Box.
Red and white wines consist of Merlot 2006 and Sauvignon
Blanc 2007. Both wines are becoming popular.

The picture shows the snow boarders who are helping me
in the vineyard. Reiko-chan, Hasimoto-kun, Yamashia-kun,
and Netsu-kun. They and Maruyama-kun are introduced
by Haruna-chan. They seem quite well know in the boarder
world. They don't mind working in the farm yard during
off-season as they are naturalists. They even go out for
a lunch in the woods or Sakata-yama observation hut.
They seem to enjoy such work out in the nature.
I have received some request to introduce them
for helping hands.

房切りもようやくあと1反分弱を残す
のみとなり、先が見えてきた。

花も大分満開に近い。今日は
夏並みの温度で、畑は葡萄の
花の香りで満ちていた。
黄色の花粉やキャップが頭や
体中に落ちてくる。

巨峰の花の写真が取れたので
2枚ほど。葡萄は花弁（花びら）が
無く、真ん中のめしべを囲む形で
おしべがあります。花帽（キャップ）
という、おしべとめしべの入れ物の
上半分がとれて自家受粉します。

また、シャルドネの花も咲き始めた。

ワイン用葡萄の樹勢は、カベルネ・フラン
とカベルネ・ソーヴィニオンを除いて
驚くほど強い。メルローとシャルドネの畑
を見て下さい。　また、シラーズはやはり
PBNなのか、花房の数が少ない。去年の
2-3割ほどという感じ。

We have all the way proceeded to
the last Kyoho vineyard today.
The rest is just less than 10a now.

The flower is in almost full bloom
at Hongo vineyard. It was warm like
summer today and the vineyard was full
of flower scent. The yellow pollen fell
on head and everywhere.

They are covered by cap and its removal is the
flowering.

Chardonnay begins to flower,too. The bunch is
much smaller than that of Kyoho as shown in
the picture. The winegrape vines are very
vigorous except Cabernet Franc and Cabernet
Sauvignon. Look at these Merlot and Chardonnay
vineyards. Shiraz has very few bunches. It
is because of PBN as explained before here.

先週から大勢の方々が房切りを
手伝ってくれています。
皆さんありがとうございます。

峰の原の福永さんは3日も続けて
来てくれました。昨日は妹の由美さんと一緒で、
自家製天然酵母パンとジャム等も差し入れて
くれました。　美味しく頂いています。
今日も行こうかと言ってくれましたが、
既に7-8人来てくれていたのでありがたく辞退
しました。でもやっぱり来てもらっていたら
楽しかったろうと、後悔先に立たず。
何といっても、ボーダーの若者達を
一人で統率できる稀な人です。

長野市の山口さん夫婦は毎年必ず来てくれます。
昨日も夕食にまわせるほどおにぎりと野菜の
惣菜を頂きました。

福ちゃん農園の福宏さんと晃子さんは
今日で二日目です。今日は菅平の斎藤さんも
一緒でした。マイカップにマイ脚立等
マイ農具を持って助けに来てくれました。

高津さん、栗田さん、本田さんも
都合のつく時に来てくれています。
畑以外でもお手伝い頂いたり、
栄養剤や差し入れも頂き感謝です。

今年房切り初日は、ボーダーの春菜ちゃんと
二人きりで、どうなるかと心配していたら、
春名ちゃんがボーダー仲間に声をかけてくれて、
毎日新顔が増えていって今日で7人となりました。
さらに二人は声をかければ来れますとのこと。
来年は巨峰畑を借り増して、ボーダーの
若者達に常に仕事があるようにしたらどうか
等と思っています。ある日皆が急にいなくなったら
困るのですが。

福永さんいわく、こんな軽作業なんだから
バイト代は安くてもしょうがないわね、と。
私は非農家で巨峰栽培を始めて、1年目の
房切りを一人でやり始めて際限の無い
トンでもない作業だと刷り込まれて
しまったのですが、確かに泥まみれや
体力の限界まで追い込まれるような
作業ではないですよね。自分ではいくらも
耐えられるのに、それを他人にとっては
つらい作業を強いているのでは、と思って
しまうのは失礼ですよね。

Since the beginning of the bunch forming,
so many people came to help me. I thank you
very much for all of them.

Fukunaga-san in Minenohara came
three days in a row. She took her sisiter
Yumi-san with their home-made
bread and jam. They taste very good.
She offered her hand even today. As I had already
7 to 8 people in the vineyard, I declined from
her offer with many thanks. However, we should have
more fun if she had come. It's like crying over
spilt milk. She is such a rare person who can administer
young snow boarders by herself.

Mr.and Mrs. Yamaguchi in Nagano City
come to help every year with a big luch
most of which I can take back home for
easy dinner.

Fukuhiro-chan and his wife Teruko-san came
today for second time! Today they took Saito-san
of Sugadaira with them. They have their own
tea cup, own stairs and own agricultural
instruments!

Takatsu-san, Kurita-san and Honda-san
come when it is convenient to them.
They help me out in other than
vineyards, too. Thank you for your
suppliments, snack,etc.

I was at a loss when I started the bunch
forming operation on the first day only
with Haruna-chan, a snow boarder. But
she started to talk to her friends and
everyday new face joined. Today seven
snow boarders are in my vineyards!
She even told me that another two were
availale if I had wanted. I wonder if
I should rent more Kyoho vineyards if
I got constant hands like today so
that there would be plenty of work
opportunities for the people like
them.

Fukunaga-san told me that such low wage
should be acceptable as the work was not
hard at all compared what she had been
offered in the farm yard. When I started
Kyoho growin 5 years ago when I had little
real experience in the farm yard. Bunch forming
seemed an endless operation especially when I
looked around up upon the overhead trellis.
They vineyard looked like a green ocean.
This is certainly not such a hard work as pushes
one to the limit of physical strength.

I should not think this way that
I can stand such a work but casual workers
would not.
