師走になって、やはり忙しくなってきた。
年末までに終えてしまいたい作業はなんとか
しなければね。

サラリーマンをやっていた時代、この時期
飲む機会が多かった。農業を始めた当初、そういう
ことも格段に減って、体が楽になった。
この時期、いつも当時の飲み会を思い出す。
何であんなに飲み歩いていたのだろうか。

Somehow I am becoming busy towards the
end of the year. I have to finish certain operation
in the vineyard before new year.

When I was working at the office almost ten
years ago, I often had to go out for drink including
year end parties almost everyday. When I quit the job
and started the farming, I had no more such meetings
and I felt very healthy. December always reminds me
of such good old days. I wonder why I went out for
for drinking so often then?

須坂でも柚子が取れる。
といっても、知り合いのお宅にある
1メートルほどの樹1本なのだが。
30年程前に植えたのが、最近
実をつけるようになったらしい。

おすそ分けで頂いて、鍋やら
うどんやらに使っている。
鮮烈な香りは常に冬のものだ。

名産地はもっと暖かい地方だから
ここら辺も暖かくなってきている
という事なんだな。
そんなに喜んでもいられない
という複雑な気持ち。

Yuzu Orange or citron tree can grow and
make fruit even in Suzaka. But this is the
only one tree of around 1m high and about
30 years old in Suzaka as long as I know.

The owner told me it has had fruit only
recently. I got some of its fruit and use
for hot pot dish and udon noodle. The scent
is very sharp and always remind me of the
winter.

Yuzu is usually famous in much warmer
region. It may tell us that the weather around here
has become warmer which is not always good
to us and makes me feel a bit awkward.

先日須坂にある、とある割烹にて
50人ほどでワイン会が催された。

直前の音楽会での素晴らしい演奏の
余韻もあり（感動ものでした）、
その演奏家をお迎えしての会は
宴となって大変盛り上がり、
最後は参加者全員で気持ちよく
合唱となりました。

There held a wine tasting session
with about 50 people in a prestigious traditional
style restaurant in Suzaka.

After the wonderful music performance
by the guest players which was really
moving, the gathering with the performers
and the audiences was full of good will
and heart warming welcome of the participants.
It turned out to be an almost year end party and
ended with the songs sung by all the people
there in very friendly atmosphere.

人気の地元産ラ・フランスを使った
ジャムが出来ました。

危うく伐られそうになっていた樹でしたが、
生食用とジャム用に使いたいからと伐るのを
待ってもらったものです。今年は方々から
需要が増えてよかったよかった。

一瓶630円です。

La France pear jam has just arrived.
It is now very popular everywhere.

The pear trees were almost cut down a few
years ago. I asked not to do so and tried to
use for jam and for table use. Now the owner
of the tree has regular customers and the trees
have survived.

Now it’s on sale Y630 per container.

東京から帰ってきてから
忙しくしていました。しばらくブログを
更新できませんでしたが、元気です。
