楠ヴィニヤーズでは、5月12日（木）10：00-17：00、
東京流通センター第1展示場Dホールにて開催される
ワイン東京2011　に参加します。

会場はかなり混む場合があり、せっかくいらして頂いた
方々に落ち着いて試飲して頂けないケースがあります。
という訳で、今回は余り招待状を送りませんでした。
申し訳ありませんがその旨ご了承下さい。ですが、
関東最大のワインの展示試飲会ですので、酒販店、料飲店
等々の皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。

ところで、お得な情報です。
当日、日本ソムリエ協会のブースで義援金ワインが用意
されています。1,000円以上の募金でワインが1本プレゼント
されます（先着順だと思います）。私もシャルドネ2009
（未リリース品）を12本提供しました。通常1,000円ではゲット
出来ないワインばかりが並ぶでしょう。もちろん1,000円以上
募金しても頂いていいんですよ。私もゲットしたい。

I will be participating the WINE TOKYO 2011 on May 12,
10:00-17:00 at Tokyou Ryutsu Center No.1 Exhibition D Hall.

As the event is usually very crowded with visitors and I cannot
talk with my guests enough, I sent only limited number of
invitation cards this time. Please accept my apologies for it.
However, as it is the biggest event of wine in Tokyo area, I really
Expect to see many bottle shops and restaurants.

Here is a news of a good deal. At the booth of Japan Sommelier
Association, there are many give away wines distributed as charity
to the donation of more than 1,000 yen. I contributed 12 bottles of
Chardonnay 2009 which is not released yet. There will be many
such bottles as are not be purchased at 1,000yen. Of course you can
donate more than 1,000 yen.　I want to get a few bottles,too.

連休が始まる前は色々と、たまった書類など
片付ける事が出来るかなと淡い期待があったの
だが。

今度借りた遊休荒廃農地の開墾にかかりきりだった。
20年ほどほったらかしの畑と田んぼ。
チェーンソーで雑木を切り、枝をこなし、抜根し、
葦をビーバーで切り倒し、集め、焚く。

葦とつるの根を掘り返してこれも焼却。

大分視界が開けたところで、バックホーを
返さねばならなくなり一時中断。また今週も
続きです。

連休中天気が良くて、りんごの花もようやく今日は
満開になりました。

Before the Golden Week began, I had expected to
finish paper works vainly. I spent whole day
to clear the abandoned farm land for almost twenty years
every day. I cut big trees with chain saw, chopped branches,
cleared the roots and burned them. Then I cut the reed with the power saw called
beaver and dag up the roots and the vines (not grape vines but
real vines).

Finally the view became clear but it is still halfway.
I had to stop for a while as I had to return the backhoe.
This week, I will finish the clearing.

Due to the warm weather for the consecutive holidays,
the closed apple buds finally opened full today around here.

今日風評被害の茨城県産のピーマンと
レタスの販売を蔵の朝市でやりました。
完売でした。ありがとうございました。
おつりは寄付しますという方がいたり、
水戸の方から茨城産を売ってもらって
ありがとうといわれたり。来月もっと
規模を大きくしてやりますね。

27日、28日と硫黄合剤散布中に雨。
29日は、ジャガイモ、とアスパラの植え付けに
メルロー用穴ほり。30日は予報に反して
雨降り。29日だけ天気が良かった。
今日は雨が降ったり、冷たい強風だったり。

I sold a few boxes of green peppers and
lettuce from Ibaraki Prefecture where the farmers
are suffering from the rumor of radioactive contamination.
But the veges were all sold out thanks to the visitors at the
Morning Market in Suzaka. Some donated the changes and
some from Ibaraki thanked me for selling the veges from their
region. I will make an arrangement for bigger sales next month.

I did spray Suphur lime solution on 28 and 29 but the I had
rain falls halfway on both dates. On 29, I did plant potatoes and
asparagus when the weather was good and dag holes for Merlot
planting on 30. But it rained again on 30 and I was not able
to finish planting Merlot at all. Today, it rained first and had strong
cold wind later. What unstable weather we have these days!

朝方のいい天気がお昼ごろに変わって
午後以降ずっと冷たい雨。明日は26度になるというが
夜はまた雨の様だ。秋雨のように、ここのところ
毎日雨が降っているような気がする。

例年なら、りんごの赤いつぼみが見える頃なのに。
まだ、ようやく小さな葉っぱが出始めたばかりだ。

The good weather in the morning started change at
around noon and it turned to be cold rain and
continued into the night.

Do we really have nice weather tomorrow with the
temperature of 26 degrees C but again it is forecasted
to be rain in the evening. I feel it rains almost everyday
like in the late autumn.

Small red buds of apples are supposed to be seen today usually
but we can only see small young leaves coming out at the tips of
the twigs.
