夕方などは、いかにも雪国らしい佇まいです。

この時期としては本当に珍しく
街に雪はありません。

が、須坂の南の玄関口峰の原高原
には、たっぷりの積雪があり、スキー場
では競技会も開かれています。

須坂から約1000メートル程の標高差を
車では約20分。もちろんお隣菅平も
にぎわっています。

私でもちょっと滑ってみようかと、そんな
気にさせてくれる別世界がそこにあります。

We have very little snow in town here in Suzaka.
But there are plenty of snow in Minenohara Kogen
Heights which is the south gate of Suzaka City next
to Sugadaira. Twenty minutes car drive from down
town Suzaka will bring you to the snowy mountains
just 1000m altitude difference from our winery.

Many skiers and boarders gather there as well as
Sugadaira and a ski competition is held today.

By watching people enjoying the snow slops, I was
almost moved to try ski there.

I wonder what kind of year this new year will be ?
I hope it will be a wonderful one to all the people.

I also hope that this will be a good one for us and with
the brilliant light of hopes. In order to make it like that,
we have to act towards our goal first of all.
A first step forward toward our goal.

The new year has started with many things happening already
as usual with much little snow and coldness. We will try our
best to smile at the end of the year.
