昨日は須坂市の事業仕分けについて
思うところを書いて、一旦ブログに
載せたのだが、すぐに削除してしまった。
あまり気分が乗らなかったのだ。

先日のふるさとフェアで買ったものが
美味しかったからと、追加注文が来た。
りんごのシナノゴールドにお米。
りんごは農協から送ることにした。
シナノゴールドはもう終盤なので、
いいものがあればいいが。
黄色いりんごなのであまり受けはよくないらしい
が食べれば噛み応えのある、美味しいりんごです。

お米はうちの無農薬米。何でも、美味しかったので
知り合いに差し上げたいとか。嬉しいことです。

ところで、ワインの追加は如何ですか？

I wrote about Project Sorting of Suzaka city
last night and updated in my blog but I deleted
it soon. Sometimes truth is taken offending and
I did not feel good enough to upload it.

I got calls regarding the Furusata Fair the other
day. They were additional orders of apples and rice.
They said to want more as the produces tasted so good.
I arranged to send Shinano Gold apples from JA.
We are in the last minute of the Shinano Gold season.
I am not sure but I hope to get good apples at the moment.
It is yellow apples and is less popular than red ones but
it is crispy and very tasty apple.

I am glad my rice was liked so much. The lady on the phone
said to me that she wanted to give it to her friends as the
rice tasted very good.

So what about wines ?

やらねばならないことが山盛りです。

来年の準備や、畑の始末。
今年は巨峰の畑に種粕を撒くのですが、本当は
10月中に撒きたかった。

（これは来年の玉ドレ用の玉葱1000株。
今日2000株植えました。）

収穫した作物もそれなりの扱いが必要ですしね。
蕎麦に大豆も干さなければ。

紅葉がそこまで降りてきました。

I have a lot to do in the vineyards and farm yards
besides documentations for the winery.

I have to prepare the vineyards for next year and
other operations for veges, too. I will be spreading
rapeseed cake in the vineyards which I should have
finished within October.

In addition, I have to dry the buckwheat grains
as well as soy beans.

The yellow and red leaves have come down to this
area.

11月4日、5日と東京都庁での
「信州須坂ふるさとフェア」においで頂いた方々、
ありがとうございました。千葉、大宮、横浜等遠方からも
わざわざ会いに来て頂いた方もいて、大変感激しました。
本当にありがとうございました。

場所柄、通りすがりの方の訪問も期待できず、
おやきはじめ、りんごや葡萄などあまり売れないのでは
ないかと予想して持ってゆく数を抑え目にしていたのに
嬉しい誤算で、二日分が一日で完売して追加
搬入したほどでした。それほど多くの人が来ていたという
感じはしないのですが、購入していただけた方の数が
多かったようです。

私の持っていったワインなども予想よりはでましたが、
これは5本、6本とお買い上げ頂いた方がいたからだと
感謝しています。チェーン除草（無農薬）米やねぎも完売し、
美味しさが評価頂けたら嬉しいです。

4日は少々早めに失礼してヴァイオリン・リサイタルに、
5日は、フェアの後場所を移動して、在京須坂関係者の
方々との交流会と、スケジュール一杯の二日間で
ありました。

Thank you very much for those who visited “Shinshu
Suzaka Furusato Fair” . And special personal thanks to
those visited all the way from Chiba, Omiya, Yokohama, etc.
I was very glad to see you again and appreciate it very much
for your checking my blog,too.

Due to the location within the Metropolitan Government
Building, we had not expected so much sales and brought
a bit less number of merchandises. The number of visitors did not
seem so many however the goods sold well and we had to order
additional deliveries for Oyakai and grapes. It seemed that many
visitors actually purchased things rather than just looked around.

The number of wines I brought sold better than expected but
it was because of a few people who purchased 5 to 6 bottles.
My rice and leeks were both sold out. I would be happy if they
found they tasted good.

I went to the violin recital of my nice on the 4th after the
fair and joined the buffet party with the people related to
Suzaka in the evening of the 5th. So both were quite full
and busy days.

I thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

フェアは、4日　11：00－18：00
5日　9：30―16：00です。
4日と5日で開催時間が異なりますのでご注意下さい。

私は、ワインとジュースのほか
無農薬栽培のこしひかり新米とねぎ、それに玉ドレ
とジャムを持ってゆきます。

東京都庁では酒類の試飲が厳禁されていますので
ワインの試飲はありません。

平日ですが、お時間の作れる方、近くにおいでの方
のたくさんのご来場をお待ちしております。

I will be participating at the Shinshu Suzaka Hometwon Fair
to be held at the Japan PR Corner on the 2nd floor
of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Hall No.1.

Time: 11:00-18:00 (Nov.4) and
9:30 to 16:00 (Nov.5). Please be careful the opening
hours is different on each day.

I will bring my wines and juice as well as new rice, leek,
Onion dressing and jam.

As the wine tasting is prohibited in the building, there is
no tasting of alcohol beverages.

Please come and see us and enjoy things from Suzaka including
Oyaki, our proud soul food. I hope to see you on either day.

といってもコンバインという機械で
刈って、脱穀して袋詰めまでしてしまう
のだが。

当初先月25日に予定されていたのが雨で
延期。その後ほぼ1日おきに雨が降って
今日に至ったしだい。
晴れたとはいえ今までと夕べの
雨で、蕎麦の茎や異常に元気な雑草の茎が
絡み付いて、それを取り除くのに二人がかりで
何度も中断。

山の方は異常高温のせいか、実があまり
入っていないそうだが、この畑は充実した
実が入っているようだ。

ふもとの山も色づきはじめた。

Harvest is done by the machine called
Combine which can be also used for rice,
soy beans and rape seeds.

The harvest was expected on October 25 but
it was cancelled due to rainfall. Thereafter, it
rained almost every other day and finally our
turn came today. The stem were wet as well as green
weeds that were twined the machine. The machine operator
had to stop many times to remove the plants and I had
to help him to pull them out from the machine.

I hear that the harvest is poor this year especially in the
area of higher altitude probably due to the unusual summer
heat. However, our buckwheat seems all right with more
grains than last year.

The mountains around here have started showing the
autumn color.
