Suddenly all my troubles seem so
far away… ♪　という訳でもないのだが
Suddenly などというと口をついて出るのは
この一節ですね。

大分師走っぽくなってきました。
急遽決まった突然のワイン会など
で２日ほど留守にすることになったり、
イベントが入ってきたり。
なかなか畑仕事が…。

Suddenly I become so busy which makes me feel
it IS December. If I mention ‘suddenly’ , I always
remember the famous phrase like ‘all my troubles
seem so far away…’.

Any how, I have to go to Tokyo again to attend the
wine tasting session suddenly organized and will
be away for a few days from now. I now miss very
much my vineyards and its operations that I have
to do before real coldness comes around.

今朝ようやく少し寒い朝。
明覚山も半分ほど雪景色。
今日が初冠雪？　
須坂の里にはまだ雪は来ていませんね。

先日遠出した帰りに、車窓の景色を眺めていたら
松本あたりで女性の声の車内放送。
「…車掌が替わりました。長野まで宜しくお願いします。」
宜しくお願いしますというその語尾が丸く響いた。
きっと彼女は軽く頭を下げていたのだろう。

It was a bit cold morning today for the first
time in last few days. The Myokaku mountain
was covered with light snow half way from the top.
I wonder if it was the first snow on the mountain
this winter? Snow has not reached the town of
Suzaka yet.

On the way back from a trip the other day, I was in
the train watching the scenery through the window
when I heard the announcement by a lady’s voice.
It said that the train contactor had been changed
at Matsumoto and new one wished a present ride till
Nagano. The end of the phrase sounded soft and round
and I was able to visualize the scene she bowed
beyond the microphone.

今年の蕎麦。まだ玄そばです。
これからとおみに掛けて太った玄そばだけを
分けてから、製粉してもらいます。

玄そば　キロ900円
製粉後　キロ　1,500円
にてお譲りします。

今年は蕎麦は全般に不作でしたが、里で
育てた無農薬の楠ヴィニヤーズの蕎麦は
見入りも良くいい感じです。

オヤマボクチ（乾燥）もお譲り致します。こちらは
5グラム600円です。春に山から取ってきて自然乾燥
したあと、時間をかけて繊維だけを煮て乾燥させた
ものです。売り切れ御免！

This year’s buckwheat (new soba) is available for sale.
Either as grain or flour. I will separate heavy grain and
will have them milled at a reliable mill.
Price as follows:
Grain: Yen900/kg
Flour: Yen 1,500/kg

This year the harvest of buckwheat was poor around
north part of Shinshu in general but our gains look
fat and good which were grown in rather lower area.

Oyamabokuchi is also available for sale at Yen600 for 5g of
dried fiber. The leaves were picked in the mountain in Spring,
naturally dried, boiled and the fiber was dried again.
Only the stock lasts.

そういえば、少し前に農協で見た
巨峰の二期作の出荷風景。

へー、そんなのもやってるんだと
ジモピーなのに知らなかった事を
恥じ入りつつも、露地ものしかやっていない
私としては、ちょっとねーなどと思い。
でも、需要があるから供給がある
わけで、どういうもんだろうね。

今年は玉伸びせず、粒が小さいのだそうです。

This was the scene of the first shipment
of this year’s double harvest Kyoho grpes at JA.

I was impressed and was embarrassed for not having
known it before though it had been done here for years.
As I grow grapes only naturally, I am not totally for
such manipulated growing. However, they are here due
to the demand and supply relationship. There must be
someone who make the farmers to go double cropping.
Is that all right for you?

I hear that the berries are rather small this year.
I don’t know why.
