峰の原の友人である福永さんが、柄にもなくマイクロファンディングを
試みています。毎年開催している『森フェス』の実行委員長でもあり、
昔から環境保全やコミュニティーの活動をされている方で、
今回も衷心から峰の原の為にこれを是非実現したいという一心の熱い思いで、

建築は菅平のゾンタックさんの色々なプロジェクトに関わっている鶴丸さんが
音頭を取って関係者が労働力を提供して作ります。

峰の原高原は、夏は涼しく冬は一面銀世界の幻想的な別世界となりますが、
春や秋も山野草や自然観察の山歩きには最適な場所で、四季を通して訪れたい所です。
公会堂のような施設はありますが、高原の茶屋があれば気軽に訪ねる場所に
変わるかもしれません。　数年前までは、福永さんのご両親が赤字覚悟で
喫茶店を開いていましたが高齢のためリタイアされてからは憩える場所の
確保が難しくなっていました。

このブログをみられている方で、須坂の峰の原高原が好きだという方、

Hut in Minenohara

A friend of mine in Minenohara Kogen Heights, Ms. Fukunaga, is now
trying to get financing through so-called ‘ micro funding’.
She organizes Mori Fes. (Forest Festival) every year and has been
working for preserving natural environment for many years.
This time she decided to make a hut where people can gather easily
and which provides with a resting place for the visitors.
The construction will be managed by Mr. Tsurumaru who has been
involved many outstanding projects by the Petit Hotel Zontagin
Sugadaira. Their friends will work for the construction voluntarily.

Minenohara Kogen Heights has the unique features specially for
summer and winter. In summer, the life there is very comfortable
by comparing with the heat at the foot of the mountains. In winter,
the scene changes to white and is like in a fantasy. Recently,
people starts to find the wide range of variety of flowers and
trees in spring and autumn. As such, one wishes to visit there
every four seasons. There is a public meeting house but it becomes
more convenient if there is a cafe cum tourist office. Ms. Fukunaga’s
hut will cater for such features of course. There had been a cafe run by
Fukunaga san’s old parents until a few years ago but it has been closed
for some time. I wish to see such a cafe in Minenohara so that I could visit
more easily and freely, and finally many more people could experience
such a wonderful world.
