投稿の詳細: 須坂で体験！　An excursion to Suzaka.

30度を超えた暑さの中よく頑張ってくれました。

千葉市内の学校に通う中学3年生13人が
修学旅行の農業体験で楠わいなりーに。
ピノノワールの苗木植えを体験してもらいました。
須坂グリーンツーリズムの会員で受け入れたものです。

作業は結構真剣で、教えた作業を完璧にこなして
約80本を1時間ほどで植えてくれました。
もの覚えのよさに感心！　若いってすごいね！

作業の後は、地元の農家の方が作ってくれた
アップルパイ、二十日大根、きゅうりに
りんごジュースでおやつでした。

他のグループの中学生も、田植えやら、
リンゴやプルーンの摘果やらを体験。
動物園で飼育体験や、おやき造り体験を
したグループもありました。

体験したものづくりの一端が何かの役に
たてばいいな。受け入れた農家や、他の体験グループを
受け入れた方々の顔も晴れ晴れでしたよ。

They worked hard in the heat over 30 degree C today.

Thirteen junior high school students at their third grade
came to Kusunoki winery to experience farming. They
tried young vine planting in our vineyard. This is an
event that Suzaka Green Tourism members accepted for
the first time such student excursion activities.

The work was serious one but their performance
was excellent and completed planting of about 80 vines
in an hour following the advice that I had given briefly
at the beginning. I was so impressed at their performance
and potentiality. How great it is to be young !

After the planting, they enjoyed the break with
locally hand made apple pies, raw radish, cucumber,
apple juice, etc.

Other groups tried rice planting, fruit thinning of
apples and prunes. Some other group experienced
feeding at the zoo, oyaki making, etc.

I hope these work and experience will carry
something to be of their help some how.
I found the farmers joining this event were
all smiling after each event.
