お盆に入る前に草刈と防除をして、
お盆が明けたら麻布十番の準備、
麻布十番が終わって一息ついたらいつの間にか
2週間ほどが経っていた。この間
とても暑い日が続いたのであまり
農作業もはかどらなかったが、時間を
浪費していた感覚はない。

が、畑に行って愕然。畑が草で埋まっている。
気温が高い上に適当な夕立もあったせいか。
ボルドーをうったあと、少々気を緩めたかな？

明日からのボルドーが今年最後の防除となる。

I mowed and sprayed in the vineyards before
the Obon holidays. After Obon, I spent some time
for the preparation for Azabujuban Summer Festival.
Now it’s over and I find that almost two weeks have
passed. I did not spend much time in the vineyards
during last 10 days due to the extraordinary heat but
I did not feel that I had wasted time at home.

In any event, I was shocked today in the vineyards
at the height of the weeds. They have grown up so rapidly
with the heat and the occasional showers. I wonder I was too
much relaxed after the last Bordeaux spraying.

Next Bordeaux spraying is planned from tomorrow which is
supposed to be the last spraying for this season.
