今年の麻布十番の夏はとても暑かった。
そしていつも以上の人波が日曜日に押し寄せた。
「立ち止まらずに歩いて下さい」
という放送が何度も流れる。
私も危険を感じて、声掛けを中止。
人々の流れを見つめるしかない。

そんな過酷な状況のなか、わざわざおいで下さった
お客様、友人、知人の皆様に感謝致します。
本当にありがとうございました。少しでも
お楽しみ頂けたことがあったら嬉しいと
思います。半年から1年ぶりで会った方々、
10年ぶりに会った方々、お友達を連れて来て
くれた人、去年見知って今年も試飲に
来てくれた方、関係者の方々全てに
お礼を申し上げます。十分な対応が
できなかった失礼をお許し下さい。

また、大変な人混みと暑さが予想されたため
あえて郵便等でご案内を差し上げませんでした。
忘れていた訳ではないのです。ご了承下さいね。

毎日屋台を組み立て、片付けるのです。）

It was really hot at Azabujuban this summer.
Many more people than usual year came to visit the
Summer Festival this year especially on Sunday, the
last day of the festival.

Security office had to announce many times asking people not to
stop walking but just advancing.
I felt it dangerous to keep so many people in the streets and side
walks that did not provide with sufficient space for people strolling
around. I was a bit scared and stopped calling people for tasting.
I just watched the stream of people passing by to give for a while.

Under such circumstances, I was really happy to meeting so many
people to have come to see me at the festival all the way in the
crowd and under the heat. There were people came to see me
only once in a year at this occasion. And there were even some people
came to see me for the first time in last 10 years!
Others took friends to make them taste my wine, too!

Please accept my sincere apologies for not having attend
enough time individually. In addition, please understand that
I did not send notice this year because I was afraid about the
heat and the big crowd for some to visit.
