最近、畑を見たいのですが、
というお問い合わせを何件か頂きました。

5月後半から7月一杯は超がつくくらいの
農繁期で、特に楠ヴィニヤーズでは巨峰や
ナガノパープルも栽培している為、その作業も佳境の
時期でもあり、せっかくお問い合わせを頂いて
申し訳ないのですが、対応できかねる状況です。

この期間、とても一人では畑の管理ができないため、何人も
お手伝いをお願いしています。ブログでは
のんきな事を書いていますが、防除の日には
明るくなると同時に出て行き、天気次第で
予定変更はしょっちゅうで、終日畑です。
ですので、お約束してもドタキャンせざるを得ず、
予定を入れて頂いたお客様にご迷惑をおかけする
ことになり、大変心苦しく思います。

また、6月中旬からリリースする
ワインの発送などもあり時間に追われる
日々が続きます。

ともかく生食用もワイン用も、高品質の
葡萄を栽培することを最優先にしておりまして、
その為には、どうしてもお断りせざるを得ない
状況です。将来的には、いついらして頂いても
対応できる形にしたいとは思っておりますが…。

このようなわけで愛想の無いお返事になってしまう
かも知れませんが、どうぞご理解ご容赦下さい。
8月以降は対応できると思います。
また、10月にはほぼ毎週末収穫会を行っておりますので、
ぜひこちらにご参加頂き、気持ちのよい秋の
一日をお楽しみ頂ければ幸甚です。

Recently I have received some inquiries from the
customers that they want to visit my vineyards.

I wish to take you there and talk much about my
grapegrowing with you. However I am very sorry
to say that I cannot do so now until the end of July
as this period is the busiest time for the
grapegrowers. Especially as I am growing table
grapes like Kyoho and Nagano Purple, which
keep me away from doing other things than
taking care of them including winegrapes.
During this period, in order to manage all
eleven scattered vineyards, I have to employ
people to help me in the vineyards. As such,
I have no choice but to decline from your
requests. You may point out that I do not
seem so busy according to my blog. But actually
I am! For the scheduled spraying, I have to leave
home even before it gets bright in the morning
and such schedule changes frequently because
of the weather. Therefore, if I had an appointment
with you, I would have to cancel it and it would
embarrass you which in turn would cause pain
to me.

Additionally, I have to take care of the shipment
of the wines to be released in mid June.

Anyhow, everything is to make the best grapes
for the customers and for the wines. I hope you will
understand such situations. Of course, I really want
meet your request any time and hope to be able to
do so in the near future. Please accept my apologies
for the refusal to your request for the time being.

Instead, I would like to invite you to join our winegrape
harvest events to be held every weekend in October. It
is really fun to be out in the fine autumnal day and
to be part of the first winemaking process ‘picking’.
I really hope to see you in the vineyards then.
