The last scheduled visit of second day
was Wolf Brass, one of the biggest wine
making factor in Barossa Valley.
There are many building size huge
fermenters. They make wines of around
2 million cases per year.
Most of its wines can be obtained in Japan
but visiting such a factory was a rare opportunity.
Visitors can taste most of the ranges including
Black Label and Platinum Label wine for mere three
dollars while we have to pay around $50 for the
similar tasting at the National Wine Centre in
Adelaide.
Some people do not like the wines from the
big companies like Wolf Brass by saying
that the mass production lacks character but
in fact their wines are better than expected.
Dr. Hayasaka joining our tour for the day
shared the idea and actually bought a bottle
of wine there. I got two bottles of Black Label
for future wine tasting in Japan.
