ボージョレ・ヌーヴォー飲みましたか？
私は、近所の酒屋さんの飲む会で
ヴィラージュ・ヌーヴォーを飲みました。
以外といけました。そのあと知人のお店で
Bヌーヴォーを飲みましたが、これはイマイチ
でした。

さて、先日松本のワイン会の前に
塩尻のTさんの畑にお邪魔しました。
Tさんのメルロー（実です）をワイナリーで見て
とても綺麗だったので感心して、お邪魔した
ものです。

私と同じで6年前からワイン葡萄の栽培を始めた
そうです。栽培家同士話が弾みました。
てっきりジェニーヴァ・ダブル・カーテンだと
聞き間違いしていました。ダブル・カーテン
で、シルヴォズをダブルTでやったものでした。
わかりやすく言うと、ナガノパープルのH整枝で、
新梢を下向きにしている、という物でした。

話を聞くとやはり長所と短所があり、これなら
絶対という決定打という訳にも行かない
苦労をお聞きしました。

いい葡萄を見ると自分はまだまだだな～と
思いますね。それで、もっと頑張らなきゃと
思います。

今日一部の畑で極超早生のライ麦を
植えました。土壌改良のためです。
初めての経験なので色んな意味で
ドキドキです。

Did you drink Beaujolais Nouveau ?
I did at a wine party organized by
a local bottle shop. That was a
Beaujolais Village Nouveau which was
better than expected. Later on I tried
Beaujolais Nouveau at a bar which was
just so so as ususal.

The other day when I went to Matsumot
for the Wine Party, I had visited a
viticulturist in Shiojiri in the
afternoon. I wanted his vineyard
as I had seen his beautiful Merlot
fruit at a winery. I wonder how he
made them.

He started growing winegrapes six years
ago as sama as I. Two viticulturists
enjoyed sharing ideas and the experience.
I had heard that he grew grapes on Geneva
Double Curtain so called GDC but actually
it was not. His method was to train
new shoots downwards based on high T.

According to him, he experienced merits
as well as demerits and it was not
appropriate to call it the best
and final vine shape.

Whenever I see good and beautiful grapes,
I feel I am not as good as the producer yet.
And that enrourages me a lot to make
better grapes for better wines.

I started planting fast growing rye wheat
in one of my vineyards for soil amelioration.
As it is first experience, it thrills me
a lot.
