投稿の詳細: 晩秋の雨　Rain in late Autumn

朝から冷たい雨が降って
いつもはにぎやかな通学路からの
ざわめきがほとんど聞こえなかった。
子供達も濡れないように
静かに歩いていたようだ。

昼になっても気温は上がらず、
雨粒が雪のようにも見える。
気のせいですが。

こんな日のランチに
先日頂いたバジルのオリーブオイル漬け
で、やはり頂き物の白菜と茹でた
パスタを頂く。春キャベツの代わりにして
日本風ジェノヴェーゼと一人おつに
入る。

畑では冬の準備が待っていて、
今年はそれでもいつもより大分畑にかかわって
いるのだが、冬の寒さが来る前に
やってしまわなければならない事は
沢山あるのだ。来年の素晴らしい
ヴィンテージのためには躊躇はない。

It was raining in the morining
and the children's voices were not
heard from their way to school. They
had to pay much attention not to get
wet with the cold rain.

The tempearture did not go up during
day time and the rain drops were
seen as if they had been snow.

I decided to cook pasta for lunch
in such a rainy cold day with basil
chopped and simmered in olive oil.
I mixed it with boiled chinese cabbage and
made it in Japanese-Genovese style.

There are winter preparation in the vineyards
waiting for me. This year I spend more time
out there this time of the year and have
no hesitation to finish it before it gets
really cold for next good vintage.
