投稿の詳細: 田植え　Rice Planting

今日酒米ひとごこちの田植え。
といっても、苗の生長具合の関係で
機械植えを7日に行っているので、
今日は田んぼの４隅など、植え残し
た場所に植え直しを行ったのだ。

参加者は、生産農家の西澤さん
夫婦もいれて全部で11人。

田植えの最中はひろい田んぼのあちこちで
歓声が上がりましたが、
田んぼ4枚の植えなおしは早く終わり、
農道でお茶を頂きました。
西澤さん自家製の、こねつけ、
ブラジルパン、シフォンケーキに
わらびや浸し豆、漬物など、郷土料理
です。

「ほんのちょっとの労働で申し訳ない
ほど頂いて」と声が上がります。
沢山頂きまして、ありがとうございました。

良いお米が取れて、美味しい日本酒「須坂」
になりますように。

We planted sake rice 'Hitogokochi'
today at Shiono area in Suzaka.
As most of the rice were planted one
week ago because of the growth of the
plant. Therefore we planted rice
in the four corners of the rice paddie
and the vacant spots in the four pieces
of rice paddie.

The number of participants was 11 including
Mr. and Mrs. Nishizawa who grow the rice.

During the planting, we enjoyed planting
a lot but the we finished fairly quickly
and moved on to the tea time by the paddie.
Tea and many foods were served which were
prepared by Mrs. Nishizawa including Konetsuke,
Brasilian bread, cake, wilde veges, beans,
pickles., etc. all hand made and local foods.

We felt rather sorry for such treat as we
did not work so much. In any case, we thank
you very much for today.

We really hope that we will harvest high
quality rice and good sake from it.
