今日は朝から一日中雨。
先日植えた苗木たちには
恵みの雨となりました。

さて、今年一押しの2本をご紹介
します。一部試飲等
に出していたりしますが、
本格的リリースはこれからです。

1) セミヨン/ソービニオン・ブラン 2008（白）
リリース予定日　6月15日。
セミヨン（約6割）とSB(約4割）のブレンド
です。　甘夏やグレープフルーツに、桃や梨、
レモンの様な香りが華やかに立ちあがります。
口の中では果物の芳醇さを感じて、一瞬甘口
かとも思うほどですが、
ボディはしっかりとあり、
アルコールと酸が
程よくバランスしていて、きりっとした
心地よい後味です。
予定価格　1本　2,940円 (750ml)。

2) メルロー/カベルネs 2007　（赤）
リリース予定日　8月31日。
メルロー（66%)、カベルネ・フラン(18%),
カベルネ・ソーヴィニオン(16%)のブレンドです。
カシスやラズベリーのようなベリー系に、
キャラメルやチョコレートを思わせる香り、そこに
スパイシーさが漂います。
カベルネ・フランの華やかさにメルローの
持つ暖かさ、そこにカベルネ・ソーヴィニオン
が優しく調和して骨格を成しています。
エレガントでスムースな赤ワインです。
予定価格　1本　3,150円（750ｍｌ）。

It was raining whole day today.
It was good rain for the young vines
that had been planted a few days ago.

Here I would like to introduce two new
brilliant wines from Kusunoki vineyards.
I have already introduced them at the limited
occasions for tasting but I will release them
to the market in a few weeks time.

1) Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc 2008 (white)
Release date June 15, 2009.
It is the blend of Semillon (60%) and Sauvignon
Blanc (40%). It has a bouquet of grapefruit,
peach, pear and citrus fruit at the noze. On the
palate, you may feel even sweetness but actually
it is not. It has a good body and the good
balance of alchool and acid,
and the aftertaste is dry.
Expected retail price is JPYen 2,940 per bottle.

2) Merlot/Cabernets 2007 (red)
It is the blend of Merlot (66%),
Cabernet Franc (18%) and Cabernet
Sauvignon (16%). It has the aroma
of cassis, rasberry, caramel and chocolate
and spiciness as well. Brilliant touch of
Cabernet Franc comes first followed by
the tender body of Merlot and Cabernet
Sauvignon gives certain structure making
it a perfect harmony. It is elegant and
very smooth wine.
Expected retail price JPYen 3,150 per bottle.
