An amusement spa.

午前中は湿った雪が降り
午後もずっと曇っていて
夕刻いつもより暗くなるのが
早い。ふと思いたって久しぶりに
「湯っ蔵んど」に行く。

夏、都会の友人達が訪ねて
来たりすると、七味温泉の
露天風呂に連れてゆくのが
決まりになっているのだが
時間がないときなど
「スーパー銭湯なんだけど」と、
自分のことではないのに
何故か自嘲気味な言い訳をしながら
連れて行く事がある。

スーパー銭湯以外に
良い表現が思い当たらないのだ。
売り言葉に苦労する。
どうすればどうなるのか
等とおせっかいなことを
考えてしまう。

そこの運営団体が変わるという。
何でも上田で「十福の湯」を
運営しているところらしい。
これは期待できるかも。
良いものを見つけて
楽しませて欲しいな。

We had wet and heavy snow whole
morning and it was cloudy in the
afternoon. Then it got dark earlier
than usual. In such a hazy late
afternoon, I went to Yukkuland
public spa.

In summer, I usually make it
a rule to take my friends from
big cities to Shichimi Onsen
hot springs. But when we did
not have enough time to go there
I took them to Yukkland by saying
that it was like a big scale amusement
public bath (super sento)in Tokyo.
My excuse sounds like as if I was
a bit hesitant to take them there.

Super sento does not sound very
exciting to those who living
in bid cities and visiting such
a rural town. We should have a
more sophisticated facility
to match the regional rural
culture. However, I do not
have other expression to explain
it to my friends.

The operator is going to change
shortly according to a local
newspaper. The new operator is the
one which runs a more famous
similar facility in Ueda City,
Juppulu no Yu spa.
I welcome such a news with
great expectation. I hope the
new operator will find the
fresh and better aspects of the
current facility and make it
more enjoyable one.
