投稿の詳細: あるコンサート　A concert.

昨日機会を得て
あるコンサートに行った。
豪華演奏陣による
映画音楽の演奏会という触れ込みであったが、
山形由美というフルート奏者の
名前しか知らず、ジェットストリームの
ライブ版くらいの感じを持っていた。
フルート、ピアノ、サックス、ギター
のアンサンブルという感じ。

結果からいうと、
かなり充実した内容だった。
満席になるくらいの
来場者があればな～と残念に
思うほどであった。

あ、なるほど本物とはこういうもの
なのだなという思いが生じた。
高い技術を要求されるであろう
編曲を自然に、安心感を持って
聞かせてくれる。
それだけではなく、その音楽が
感動さえ生んでいる。
こういう域に
達するには、きっと才能とたゆまぬ
努力とくじけない情熱があったのだろうな
と感心をしてしまった。

私も昔は管楽器を吹き、ギターをかじったり
したが、今は音符を追うこともできない。
何かのきっかけでやめてしまっているからだ。
でも、この人たちはそういう壁を今までに
いくつも乗り越えてきているのだ。

いくら才能があっただろうとはいえ、
日々の練習が無ければ
指は動くはずも無い。地道な努力の積み重ねが
こういう域に達しせしめているのだろうな。
翻って自分をみると、まだまだ努力が
足りないなと思う。倦まずたゆまずの
積み重ねを続けていったら、いつかこんな
域に到達できるかも知れないな。

Yesterday I went to a concert. The advertisement
said the screen music would be played by the
famous musicians. I only knew the name Yumi Yamagata,
a famous female flute player and thought that only
four players of flute, piano, saxophone and guitar
would play the screen music would be played like radio.
I thought it wuold be a boring concert.

However, the concert was full of astonishments and
the audience including myself were fully satisfied with
the music and the musicians. It was really a pity that
hall shouldn't have been full.

I felt as if I had touched the true things there.
The players' skill and technique were outstanding.
Even very difficult music were played with ease and
we felt very relaxed with the music played.　
What it is more, they music touched us and moved us.
I believe
that they have done so much efforts to reach such
level together with their own gifted talent and the passion
to move them towards everyday training.

I once played the flute and the guitar
so many years ago but now I even cannot
follow the score. I gave up these instruments
because of something. But these players
have never given up playing their instrument.
The have over come so many barriers.

Even with gifted talent, their fingers cannot
move so fast without their everyday training.
Their endless efforts may have made it possible.
While thinking this way, I found myself that
I have not paid such efforts yet and I still
lack everyday training.

I hope I will be able to reach such level by
continuing efforts with never tiring passion.
