イベント出店に関して税務署への
届出書を作っていたらいつの間にか
日付が変わってしまっていた。

27日土曜日、テレマークスキーの
T.M.N. スキースクールとのコラボで
ソービニオン・ブランの収穫会をやりました。

思っていたよりも葡萄の状態がよくなくて
参加していただいた皆様には気を使う
作業を強いてしまいました。

皆さんの丁寧な作業によって
良い状態の葡萄だけを選別
できたので美味しいワインが
できそうです。

今年のように雨が多く
病気が広がった年の収穫は
糖度や熟度よりも、葡萄の
状態を優先させた方が良さそう
です。とはいえ、早過ぎる収穫では、
酸度が高くて困ったことになりかねません。
自然相手の農業はどこでおりあいを
つけるかということが重要の
様です。

I have not noticed that the date has
changed alreasy while I was preparing
the submission documents to the tax office
for an even where I am going to sell my
wines.

On September 27, we had a harvest event
of Sauvignon Blanc in collaboration with
TMN Ski School which runs telemark
ski school and tours.

Due to the worse grape condition beyond
my expectation, the participants were foreced
to concentrate to remove the bad part from
bunches. I am sorry for such a patient work.
The grape harvest should be much enjoyable.

Howerver, thanks to the tidy works by the
participants, only clean part were collected.
I hope the wine will be cleaner and nicer.

I seems that I have to put
priority on the grape condition than
the sugar level or ripeness in such
an year when we had much rain and much
disease. But too early picking leaves
higher acid in the juice and wine which
will cause other problems. Grape growing
and other agriculture need to balance among
many things. It is such an amazing business!
