最後の薬散　Last spray of the year

今日早朝からボルドーをワイン葡萄
中心に散布。おそらくこれが今年
最後の散布になるだろう。

前回のボルドー散布以降
脇芽から伸びた若葉はベトにやられて、
葉が落ちたり茶色になったりしているが、
基葉は概ね健康だ。今後は
気温が下がってゆき、13度を切るように
なるとベトの心配は無くなる。

あとは晩腐病や他の病気が心配だが、
出たとしても、
収穫間際では使える薬がないので、
今までの病気の防除が大切なわけだ。

今日畑でボールマッシュルームを発見。
白いうちは食べられるが色が黒くなったのは
食べられないそうだ。試した事は
ないが。

明日からいよいよ本格的に巨峰の
収穫始めます。

I sprayed Bordeaux mix on winegrapes.
This will be the last spray of the year.

Since last bordeaux spray, young leaves on
lateral shoots have infected with downy mildew
and lost leaves or changed colour. However, big
and matured leaves look OK. The temperature will
go down towards deep autumn season and the mildew
will not a worry at all especially after it gets
to under 13C degree.

Bunch rot and other dieseases are worried, of course,
but we do not have effective medicine just before
the harvest. So spary before the disease infection is very
important.

The photograph shows the big ball mashroom. Some
told me that one can eat such mashroom while it
is white, but once the colour gets darker, one should
not eat it. I have never tried before, of course.

Kyoho harvest will start seriously from tomorrow.
