投稿の詳細: 遠い祭囃子　Far away festival excitement

午後2度の夕立で
作業は早めに切り上げた。
夏の日の農作業は思うようには
行かない。身体を休めろという
事なのだろう。

遅い夕食の買い物に出て
芝宮の前を通ると、灯篭を
持った人達が集まっている。
神輿も出ている。
交通規制は明日のはずだが、
と思ってはみても笠鉾の
巡業なのかな。

交通規制の看板で
明日は市内いたるところが
通れなくなる。須坂で一番
大規模なお祭りのカッタカタ祭り
が明日なのだ。

ただ、私は帰郷以来一度も
参加も見物もしていない。
いつもこの時期、朝から日暮れ
までブドウ畑の世話に忙殺されて
いる。今年は何時にもまして忙しい。

夏祭りの祭囃子は遠く聞こえるような気もするが
賑わいや憂かれ気分は
何か遠い世界の出来事のような
気がする。私の様な農夫にとっては。

Today we had shower twice in the
late afternoon and we had to stop
vineyard work earlier. We are often
forced to stop working by such
capricious weather in summer.
It's time to take some rest on
such a day.

On the way to late shopping for dinner,
I saw many peopler with pole lanterns in
front of Shibamiya shrine tonight. Some portable
shrines were there, too. Road closure is scheduled
tomorrow so it maybe another tour of such portable
shrines.

The notices of road closure for
tomorrow are found
at many corners in the downtown.
There will be the biggest local festival
called Katta-kata festival in Suzaka.

However, I have not participated in the
festival since I came back to the hometown.
Every year this time, I am always busy in
vineyard operations. I am much busier this year.

Summer festival music seems to be heard from far away
and the festival animation and excitement sound
like those in another world for a farmer like me.
