投稿の詳細: 園地点検　Vineyards check

うだるような暑さ。
午後は気分が悪くなるほど
暑さがこたえました。
今日梅雨が明けたようです。
来週以降の雨の予報も
大分消えました。

何人かずつグループになって
各人の園地をチェックします。
房数と一房についている粒数
を数えて各園地での収量を
計算します。10平米のロープ
を使い中の房を数えるのです。

房数が多すぎると不合格、
適正だと合格です。

私は3箇所の園地の内、
2箇所は合格、1箇所は
三角合格でした。一応OK
ですが、袋掛け前に房数の
調整やら、ジベ処理葡萄の
見直しが条件です。

昨日までは、点検のあとの
慰労会はスキップして
畑で作業の続きをと考えて
いましたが、点検の途中で
あまりの暑さに、こりゃーダメだ
と判断し、午後の作業はあきらめて
ビールに向かいます。無理は禁物です。

It was very very hot today.
Specially in the afternoon, it made
me feel dizzy due to the heat.
I hear that the rainy season is over
today and the rain forecasted in next
week has gone away.

For vineyard check, a few group of
grapegrowers were formed and each one
visited the vineyards of the group
members. The number of bunches and
the number of berries per bunch were
counted and the crop estimation was
calculated. Too many bunches cannot
pass.

Once you fail this check, you have to
adjust mainly bunch number per unit
area. For me, two out of three vineyards
were OK but one vineyard hardly passed
the check. But it was conditional pass.
I have to cut some bunches down.
Additionally, I have to do some berry thinning
again on the bunches with gibelleric acid
treatment.

Until yesterday, I was supposed to
come back to current vineyard to cotinue
the berry thinning. But because of the heat,
I quit that iead and decide not to carry on
in the afternoon due to the heat.

So I gave up that iead after a few
vineyards in the after noon under the
heat and decided to have glasses of beers.
No need to impose on hard work under the
sever condition.
