1月に山に連れ出してくれた
若い友人達とまた根子岳に
行きました。

今度も快晴。ひりひりする程
顔が焼けました。遠く北アルプス
も望めます。

お昼を食べてから避難小屋あたりまで
スキーで上って、尾根沿いを
ダボス？のリフト近辺まで滑り
下りてきました。気分は爽快です。

上る途中、スノーシューで降りてくる
年配の方々何人もと会いました。
その他スノーボード、アルペンスキー、
テレマークスキーと色々な
手段で下りてくる人達が沢山います。
山口教授によると今年は根子岳に
登る人がいつもより多いとの事。
そういう山口さん、もう明日あたり
根子岳登山200回目です。

こんなに多様な人々を
ひきつけるフィールドは
他にあるのでしょうか？
大事にしたい自然環境です。

I went up to Mt.Neko with the younger
friends who had taken me out to the mountain
in January on Saturday.

It was beautifully clear again and I got
sun tan so that my cheeks hurt.
Japan Alps were seen at the shining
skyline.

After lunch we started Minenohara and
walked up with telemark ski to the emergency hut on the
Mt. Neko and went down along one of the ridges to the Davos
car park area. It was so nice and refreshing!

On the way up to the hut, we met many older people walking down
from the top with snowshoes. Besides them were snow boarders, aspline skiiers and telemark skiiers. According to professor
Yamaguchi who frequents to the mountain, there are many more people in the mountain this season. He himself went up to the summit so often and he will probably accomplish his 200th mountaineering tomorrow.

Is there any other nature filed which attracts such variety of poeple around ? We have to keep such a natural treasure in good condition.
