今日数日ぶりに市内本郷の畑に
行ったところ、雪は消えているし
穏やかな日差しで、畑には
人が沢山でてにぎやかです。

今年植える台木の枝を取りに
行ったのです。

昨日まで村石という場所にある
巨峰の畑で、積雪に難儀な思いを
しながら剪定していたので、
あまりの違いにびっくりです。
写真はいずれも今日撮ったものです。

本郷の畑は標高が大体390m,
村石は490ｍくらいですが
この違い。また先日雪に
埋もれていたシャルドネの
畑は450ｍ位です。僅か
50mか100mなのに、
驚きです。

I went to Merlot vineyard in Hongo-cho to
collect rootstock branches. There was
no snow with bright sun shine.
Many farmers were in their Kyoho vineyards
or apple orchards.

I was surprised because there was full of
Spring fresh air. What a contract to the Kyoho
vineyard in Muraishi where I had been pruing
till yesterday. I walked around in the snow there.

The altitude of Hongo is around 390m while that of
Muraishi is 490m. Only 50 to 100m difference made such
a big difference. The Chardonnnay vineyards is
in arund 450m which I mentioned as snow covered vineyard
only a few days ago.
