シャルドネ畑の剪定の様子です。
葡萄つくりを体験したいという
池田君が時々手伝ってくれてます。

今年から、剪定鋏で切れる枝は
15センチ位に切って畑に残しています。
今までは剪定枝はすべて焼いていたの
ですが、せっかく固定された二酸化炭素
なので土に返しています。
長い目で見れば、肥料にもなるし。

そうして切った枝が、転々と畝にそって
散らばっています。

This year, I cut the pruned canes into
pieces and leave them in the vineyards so
that fixed CO2 will remain fixed and that the
wood chips will become natural fertilizer,too.

The cut pieces can be seen along the rows of
the vines.
