見やすく、楽しく変えてゆくつもりです。

今日も畑では剪定です。
今年は蟷螂の巣をよく見かけます。
それも結構高いところに。

これは、今日メルローの畑で
見つけたものですが、地面から
180センチくらいの高さにあります。

積雪を避けて巣を作るという
話も聞きますが。まさかそんなには
積もらないでしょう。

今年は、去年より寒い日が多いですが
積雪は少ないくらいです。

Today, pruning is still going on in the vineyards.
I found many mantis nests this winter. Here is one I found in my
Merlot vineyard. It is about 180cm above the ground.
Manits is said to make its nest over the expected snowfalls. But this height is not realistic. We have colder winter so far but less snow this season.
