投稿の詳細: またまた雛飾り　Girls' doll festival　again

もう色んなところで紹介されて
皆さんご存知でしょうけど。

人形博物館の雛人形をご紹介します。
去年から始まって、なんだか一気に
人形博物館の顔になってしまった感のある
30段飾りです。　博物館の中には、
この他にも、雛人形が飾られて
います。4月半ばくらいまで無休で
開館してます。

同じ敷地内にある
版画美術館でも今年は3面のピラミッド型
の雛飾りが見れます。

なんでも、もうかなりのお歳の大工の棟梁さん
が1人で、「30段なんか無理だよ～」と言いながらも、
設計図無しで、人が乗っても大丈夫なくらい
丈夫なのを作ってくださったのだそうです。

職人技ですよね～。

今は設計図を書いて強度計算をして、などと
やっていて、こういった職人の技だけでは建物
とかは建ててはいけないことになっていますが。
勿体ないですよね。

その棟梁さんの作品は実は他にも
アートパークの中にもあるのだそうです。
興味のあるお方は博物館にお尋ね下さい。

版画美術館のピラミッドの一番上の人形
は戸田さんの作った雛人形です。

ちょっと宣伝。
ところで、人形博物館の前の巨峰畑では
私が葡萄を作っています。

You may have known it already as it has been introduced
eleswhere recently, the Girls' festival dolls (traditional
Japanese dolls) are diplayed at the World Folk Doll Museum here
in Suzaka. It became famous for its 30 storeys display panels
and the huge number of dolls which are extraordinary. This year,
at the neighbouring Print Gallery in the site has also pyramid-shape
display of dolls. Spectacular and certainly it is worth while watchig.

To our surprise but not known at all, these multi story display panels
were constructed by an old master constructor (daiku-no-TORYO) without any drawings. He was only given an idea how the museum people wanted to do there and he himself was able to manage to realize it with his God Hands by complaining "...30 storey is impossible what on earth these people are thinking..." The display panels are so solid and people can move aound on it. Such professionalism is very much impressive. It is really a masterpiece, isn't it?

Nowadays, a construction needs drawings and computer-aided
calculations of strength. But it was quite a normal business up
until very recently or even today which we tend to foreget.
It is a shame if we should let it fade away as time goes by.

Speaking of his work, there is another one in the Suzaka Art Park
where the Doll Museum and the Print Gallery are. If you are interested,

The pair dolls at the top of the pyramid are made by Ms.Toda whose
works have been introduced at the Doll Museum and by my blog,too.

Oh by the way, I am growing grapes just in front of the Doll Museum.
