11月25日法事のついでに東京探訪。ほんの2時間ほど時間が空いたので何と東京ミッドタウンに行ってきました。かつての防衛庁後がこんなになるとは！　ぐるっと周りを一周。檜町公園から見る東京のスカイラインは、見る方向によってはパリのホテルの窓からのぞく屋根の連なり、はたまたシカゴやニューヨークの公園から覗くビルの連なり、と言う感じでとても日本離れしていました。とても素適でした（天気もよかったんですけどね）。　ミッドタウンの内部は、香港かシンガポールのショッピングモールの中の様（シンガポールはもう少しこじんまりとしてますけどね）でちょっと懐かしい思いが湧いて来ました。或いは台北の101ビルの中みたい。でも、11時を過ぎないとギャラリアのシャッターが開かないので寂しいね…余り人がいないうちはこれで適正な賑わいかも。おのぼりさんになって、うきうきとした気分です。

I got something to do in Tokyo on Nov.25(Sun) and visited Tokyo Midtown area for a few hours of free time. You cannot imagine such a space which used to be the Japan Defence Agency! The skyline seen from the Hinoki-cho Koen Park just adjacent to the building was magnifique ! Some part looks like the roof tops of Paris viewd from a hotel room and other parts looks like the building skylines in New York City or Chicago downtown! It is not a scene in Japan! The inside of Mid Town building, especially the shopping and dinning area is like the one you can find at the shopping malls in Hongl Kong or Singapore, or the one at 101 Buildign in Taipei, Taiwan which caused me something missing emotion a bit. I enjoyed the Tokyo Mid Town very much and would recommend those who in country side visit there.
