須坂のお酒できました。日本酒です！

須坂で育成（長野県農事試験場開発＝須坂市八重森、開発者に須坂の方います）、須坂で栽培（市内塩野地区）、須坂で醸造（遠藤醸造場）、須坂の仕込水使用、須坂の題字（市内高野氏）、による「須坂」プンプンの日本酒です。純米酒で、燗でよし冷でよし。10月20日（土）市内笠鉾会館ドリームホールで発表試飲会やります。午後5時半、会費500円。
販売は翌日より市内有志の酒販店で。しかも市内限定販売です（一部ネット販売あり）。

お酒の名前は「須坂」ですよ～。

Suzaka's original brand Japanese Sake is born. The name is "Suzaka." Why does it follow the name of the city ? Because everything is made in Suzaka with regards to the sake. The sake rice is called "Hitogokochi" or "Shin-Miyamanishiki" which was developed in Yaemori area, Suzaka at a prefectural agriculture laboratory. The member involves those people living in Suzaka. The rice was grown in Suzaka at Shiono area where most of the Suzaka's drinking water is originated and it is famaous for the high quality rice. The rice is made into sake by one of the sake brewers in Suzaka. The sake master is from Suzaka. The Suzaka water is used to make it into the final product. The letter "Suzaka" on the bottle label is drawn by a calligrapher in Suzaka. In short, everything is "Suzaka."

The tasting and the official release is planned at the "Kasaboko Kaikan Dream Hall" at 1730hours on Saturday October 20th. The admission fee is 500yen per person.

The sake is good for cold and also for "kan"(warm). It has very clear favourable aroma and it tastes a bit sweet and feels a little bit of acid. The after taste is clean and clear. No sticking sweet aftertaste on the palate. It may meet with all the Japanese food especially with hot pot stuffs in coming cold season. It will be sold at 1200yen per bottle (720ml)at only in Suzaka. Let's enjoy Suzaka to its fullest extent with us!
