2025年3月2日、神奈川県三浦市の三浦海岸付近で開催された「三浦国際市民マラソン」に、信州須坂観光協会を代表してカネ十農園が出店者として参加しました。

三浦うまいもの市という場所で、三浦市の出店者のみなさんと並んで、果物（りんご、ぶどう、加工品など）を販売しました。
参加者は約1万人ですごい人数でしたが、天候にも恵まれ、日中は暑いくらいの気候で、ランナーの皆さんは汗だくになりながらのレースとなりました。
※隣で出店していたブルワリーのビールが爆売れしてました。

出店していると、「ふるさと納税でお世話になってます」「ふるさと納税がきっかけで観光にいきました」など、果物が三浦市のみなさんの身近にもあると感じられる、嬉しいお声をいただきました。
須坂市が姉妹都市というのは、みうら市民祭りやうらりマルシェの果物販売で、より感じてもらえているようです。
引き続き、もしくはこれまで以上に海と山の交流として、姉妹都市交流を盛り上げたいと感じました。

スノーキャンプ in 信州（峰の原高原）！

2025年2月22日～24日に開催された「スノーキャンプ in 信州（峰の原高原）」が無事終了しました！

東京都内の小学生43名が参加し、ふわふわのパウダースノーでスキーを満喫！
初心者も安心のゲレンデで、みるみる上達していく姿が印象的でした

夜は満天の星空観察
都会では見られない美しい星々に、子どもたちも感動！

そして最終日は、スキーの後に温泉「湯っ蔵んど」でリラックス 心も体もぽかぽかに。
スキーだけでなく、自然の素晴らしさや仲間との協力の大切さを学んだ3日間でした！
ご参加いただいた皆さま、サポートしてくださったスタッフの皆さま、本当にありがとうございました！

インバウンドモニターツアーを開催しました。

今回のモニターツアーは、
市内の施設では日本の伝統文化の体験と、雪の古道を歩くという、歴史文化に触れる、
須坂の古道「大笹街道」にスポットをあて、開催いたしました。

豪商の館田中本家博物館　見学

豪商の館田中本家博物館からスタート！
ご当主の説明を通訳の方に英訳していただきながらの館内見学。
企画展の錦絵「歌舞伎十八番」は、皆さま熱心に見学されていました！！
見学の後は、名物のカステラとお茶をいただきました。
この後、スノーシューで歩く須坂の古道、大笹街道についてご当主より説明をしていただきました。

スノーシュー体験

次は、峰の原高原に移動して、スノーシュー体験。
ペンションスタートラインのオーナーの案内で大笹街道の土手道や林の中、
まだ誰の足跡も無い新雪の上などを楽しく歩きました！
オーナーの大笹街道の説明を、ガイドさんに英訳してもらい、
当時に思いを馳せながらスノーシュー体験ができました。
ランチは、糀屋本藤醸造舗の具だくさんの豚汁と、鈴木螢雪堂のおやきをいただきました。

茶道体験

午後は、大笹街道・須坂道沿いに有る、旧小田切家住宅で玉林餅菓子店のオリジナル餡子を使って、こたつの上でぜんざい作りと茶道体験をおこないました。
須坂では濃茶、薄茶の順で始まる本格的な茶道体験が出来ます。

裏千家の島津先生より、お点前をいただいた後、
薄茶点てに、皆さまドキドキしながらチャレンジいたしました。
先生の点てたお茶と自分で点てたお茶の味の違いにびっくり！
とても楽しい“ティーセレモニー”になりました。

香り袋体験

次は“香り袋体験”の出来る、クラシック美術館に移動。
10種類の香木粉を自分好みにチョイスしてブレンド。
手作りのシルク製の小袋に入れてオリジナルの香り袋が完成です！
香木粉の量やブレンドの仕方で1つとして同じものが無い、
自分だけの香りが出来上がりました。皆さんお互いの香りの違いに感動！
完成後は館内の見学をし、あっという間の1時間でした。

We held an inbound monitor tour.

This monitor tour focused on experiencing Japan's traditional culture and exploring the snowy ancient paths, highlighting the historical and cultural charm of Suzaka's ancient trail, "Ōzasa Kaidō."

Visit to the Tanaka Honke Museum

The tour began at the Tanaka Honke Museum, a grand merchant's residence. Participants toured the museum while listening to the explanations from the head of the household, translated into English by an interpreter. The special exhibition of ukiyo-e prints, "Kabuki Jūhachiban," was met with enthusiastic interest! After the tour, everyone enjoyed the museum's specialty castella cake and tea. Following this, the head of the household provided an explanation of Suzaka's ancient trail, Ōzasa Kaidō, which participants would later explore on snowshoes.

Snowshoeing Experience

Next, participants moved to Mine-no-hara Highland for a snowshoeing experience. Guided by the owner of Pension Start Line, they walked along the embankments and through the forests of Ōzasa Kaidō, as well as on untouched fresh snow. The owner's explanations about Ōzasa Kaidō were translated into English by the guide, allowing participants to imagine its historical significance while enjoying the snowshoeing activity. Lunch featured hearty pork miso soup from Kōjiya Hondo Brewery and oyaki dumplings from Suzuki Keisetsudō.

Tea Ceremony Experience

In the afternoon, the group visited the Former Odagiri Residence, located along Ōzasa Kaidō and Suzaka Road. Here, they made zenzai (sweet red bean soup) using original red bean paste from Tamabayashi Confectionery and participated in a tea ceremony. Suzaka offers an authentic tea ceremony experience, starting with thick tea (koicha) followed by thin tea (usucha).
Under the guidance of Urasenke tea master Shimazu-sensei, participants first observed the preparation of tea.

They then nervously tried making their own thin tea, marveling at the difference in taste between the tea prepared by the master and their own.

This "tea ceremony" turned out to be a delightful and memorable experience for everyone.

Fragrant Sachet-Making Experience

The final activity was a "fragrant sachet-making experience" at the Suzaka Classic Museum. Participants selected and blended their favorite combination from 10 types of fragrant wood powders. They then placed the blend into handmade silk pouches, creating their own unique sachets. Each sachet was one-of-a-kind, with no two blends being the same. Everyone was amazed by the differences in fragrance and enjoyed comparing their creations. After completing the sachets, they toured the museum, wrapping up an enjoyable hour.

オーストラリアのオクスレイカレッジOakley Collegeの、中学生16名、高校生24名、校長先生はじめ先生方、総勢44名様の皆さまが、須坂温泉古城荘におみえになりました。
“日本文化を学ぶ研修旅行”大阪→奈良→京都→東京→長野の14日間の日程で、白馬村でのスキー体験前に、須坂市へお立ち寄りいただきました。

そば打ち体験

ほとんどの学生さんは、そばを見るのも、食べるのも初めてで、時間どおりに、そば打ちができるか不安でしたが、、、
戸隠そば打ち名人の滝沢さんの、そば粉を練り、伸ばして、細く切るというデモンストレーションをみんなで見てから、各グループに分かれて、いざ初挑戦！！　
手際よく素早く伸ばして上手に切る班、伸ばしすぎて、そばの生地が破けてやり直し班に、慎重にゆっくり丁寧に仕上げた班にと、様々なお蕎麦が無事完成。
笑顔をあふれる、楽しいそば打ち体験となりました。

　

　

　

「初めてのそば打ちドキドキした」「そば切りが難しい！」「打ちたてのそばが美味しい」等の
感想をいただきました。
またいつか、どこかで、お蕎麦を食べる時があったら、須坂でのそば打ち体験も思い出していただけたら幸いです。

Oakley College from Australia, consisting of 16 junior high school students, 24 high school students, and a total of 44 members including the principal and teachers, visited Suzaka Onsen Kojosou. As part of their 14-day educational tour to learn about Japanese culture, traveling through Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Tokyo, and Nagano, they stopped by Suzaka City before experiencing skiing in Hakuba Village.

Most of the students were experiencing soba noodles for the first time—both seeing and eating them. Understandably, there was some nervousness about whether they could successfully make soba noodles within the allotted time. However, after watching a demonstration by Takizawa-san, a master soba maker from Togakushi, where he expertly kneaded, rolled, and cut the soba dough, the students divided into groups and eagerly began their first attempt!
Some groups skillfully rolled and cut the dough with precision and speed, while others had to start over after rolling too thin and tearing the dough. There were also groups that took their time, working carefully and methodically to finish their noodles. In the end, a variety of soba noodles were successfully completed, and the experience was filled with smiles and laughter.

We received comments such as, "Making soba for the first time was nerve-wracking," "Cutting the soba was so hard!" and "Freshly made soba tastes amazing!" We hope that someday, if you have the chance to eat soba again, this soba-making experience in Suzaka will come to mind.
