投稿の詳細: ワイン熟成中 Wines under maturation.

今日は、現在熟成中の
2008ヴィンテージのワインをすべて
少々時間をかけてテイスティング。
樹齢が上がってきたせいか
どのワインも結構しっかりした風味
を持っている。ただし、複雑さは
毎年の葡萄のできによって
かなり異なるのだが。

2007ヴィンテージの赤も先月瓶詰め
して良い感じになってきている。
白については、2007年のものは
少々リリースを早まったように思う。
おそらく今販売を始めてシャルドネも
あと半年くらいで香りも含めて
変わってきそうだ。

気はせくが、やはり納得行くように
しないと。

そういえば、リースを玄関に飾った。
あまりに立派すぎるリースだ。
もう少し色物を追加しようか。
本場ではクリスマス・リースにこめる
思いは何なのだろう。

I tasted all the 2008　vinage
wines today. As each vine ages,
the taste seems to become
richer and more complex.
But the complexity is different
from one year to anohter.

Red wines of 2007　vintage which were
bottled last month are getting all
right. Howevere, White wines of 2007
vintage may have been released too
early. Chardonnay 2007 has all the way
began to change and it seems to take
another 6 months at least to drink.

I tend to feel rushed everytime
I have to decide about the timing
of release wines but
I should be very firm about the
timing of relases depending
on the quality of the wine.

By the way, I hung a wreath
on the door. It is too gorgeaous
for my door. I may put some more
decoration in gold or red color.
I wish good luck coming. But I wonder
what kind of ideas there are for the
christamas wreath.
